Lighten up? I wouldn't care if this mini-rp had something to do with the thread topic, but as it stands you're playing out a scenario in the Stories section that has nothing to do with Cherise's origin. I've noticed that a number of people have told me to lighten up on these boards. This would be expected had I constantly blown my top at people in fits of ill deserved rage. This is not the case; I pride myself in my composure. The only real conclusion that can be drawn is that most board users see the rules as guidelines that can be violated whenever one feels like it. I can certainly see the sense in your side of the argument. "Oh that Rob, taking things so seriously...doesn't he get that it's all in good fun?" I'm fully aware of this, I just chose to ignore it. The fact that the boards become more difficult to navigate the more threads like this become off topic remains very clear to me, and I am faced with this fact everytime I call up the main window to check for any important posts and have to wade through non sequiters. I'm sure I may be guilty of several counts of this; I'm arguably being a hypocrite at this very moment. It doesn't make my points any less valid. Please, take a moment to consider before drawing conclusions on what I've said here. Also, bare in mind that the " gelina.proboards18.com/index.cgi" exists and exists for a reason. |
