- sigh - I understand how you feel. You would not believe how many different pairs of shoes and how many shelves of purses I have, just so that I'm color coordinated.
I think it's a Fashion Complex.

I think shoes are a different category than clothes. Clothes I have plenty of, as well as jeans, as my ex roomie claimed I went shopping instead of doing laundry which is only partially true. I still have clothes packed in boxes as well as books packed in boxes and I've been back home almost a year... sigh. Anyway, shoes I only have a few pairs of. Tennis shoes being my adorable Adidas with the vents on the side that are starting to show their wear but I haven't gotten around to feeling like spending money on more. I have black boots, brown boots... though I recently replaced the shoelaces in them with hot pink, lacey shoe laces... most of my pants are long enough to cover them (the plus of being short) but I feel like I'm rebelling against work's new clothing policy each time I wear them. They are fun and bright and girly and hot pink doesnt look so bad with brown. I have a few sandals, in black and brown and then I have flip flops. If I don't have shoes I like, I borrow some from Heather. We've been the same shoe size forever.
Blue jeans and books... that's what makes me happy. Oh! And buying an assortment of hot teas.... hmmmm. And rocks!
I need to start unpacking boxes again... will feel like I have a whole new wardrobe! Fun!

Oh my god you would not believe the amount of clothes and shoes I have...Knickers and socks and bras have to match what I am wearing as well...I am very anal about it...But as far as purses go I have one black one cause you know black goes with everything...As for coats I have a ton of those...Usually though since I am down here is I wear my black sweater and leather jacket or my sweat jacket with the leather...Anyway you look at I try to look decent when I leave the house...Even when I ran to Wally world in my jammies everything matched...Ok now I need coffee...

I'm a very simple dresser. I wear hiking boots, some sort of jeans, t-shirt and leather jacket or denim jacket (that matches whichever color jeans I got) and a light grey sweater under the jacket unless its summer then just the t-shirt maybe a over shirt. I like simple. Now girls who have the major fashion sense... I like. Can't explain why, but I think my simplistic dressing frustrates most women who have the mighty fashion sense. ::shrug::

I don't care what my guy wears, as long as it's not.. like.. indecent, if that makes sense.
But - sigh - I loooove polos on a guy. And those really nice dress shirts from like.. Abercrombie. With the sleeves rolled up. Omg. - drool. -
There's something I love about a fashionable sense of.. casual on a guy. Paraaaadoxical I know.
I also like faded jeans on a guy. No holes in 'em though.

Hmm...faded levi's, top buttoned undone...no shirt...bare feet. Now that's hot!! *drools as she has a flashback then looks at her sister* Oops. Sorry. *slaps herself* Bad Shari, bad!
Now for my rant...If this old bat that I am doing a side job for gets snotty with me or the hubby one more time I am gonna deck the witch. Her bitching just isn't worth the money! And let me tell you she is in her own damn reality. She doesn't listen to a word we say, she only hears what she wants to hear and oh don't you know she knows it all! NOT! *growls and slinks off to another thread*
