I am quickly working at making my house the best place ever for food. *nodnod*
Still working at convincing my elf that he is insane for contemplating those evil vixens who are trying to yank him away, I started thinking about what areas I needed improvement in. Reading "Sweet Potato Queen's Big Ass Cookbook and Financial Planner" ((that's the name. honest.)) I have sooo many great recipes to try. For one, a southern girl who doesn't know how to make biscuits might as well trade in her twang and move north! I, not really being big on biscuits, am going to learn to make sweet potato cornbread and... get this... sweet potato biscuits! Heather's aunt makes sweet potato biscuits and I make her bring me some back every time she goes to a family gathering that includes food. We love these things.

Good luck Tasha! I for one can't cook at all. ^^; I leave that to my boyfriend (he's amazing. He just made me creme brule not too long ago). I got a real keeper.

That is actually what I am more accustomed to. My mom and stepmother occasionally cooked, but daddy was the cook in the family. I loved his winter soups and stews... and I take a lot after him in my creativity. It stretches the limits when I use it in cooking whereas with him it always ended in something unbelieveably yummy.
My green peas are still the best in the world, though. Only the best in the world could possibly make green peas so good that they arent classified as healthy anymore. And I think my sweet carrots are grand too.

I wouldn't say it's my fav, but I do have to say that I love the food at the restruant that my sister works at. We went there for breakfast for Father's Day so we could go see her, ^^ and it was really good! Of course so was the service. Hehe. LU Sis!
