Marlene I started this thread to see what people like to listen too not to judge anyone. I admire your taste in your music. Shair ignore my brother he has a bad sense of judgement when it comes to making jokes.

Lol, looks I like some of the oldest bands here, that makes me sad. I like The Cars, The Who, then the more recent stuff, Metallica but not the new stuff, like them up to the load album, only song on the reload album I like is Unforgiven II, then I like Fear Factory, Killswitch Engage, Cradle of Filth, Demon Hunter, definatly Rammstein, Nena (old german female singer), Slipnot, Earshot, good ol Ozzy and AC/DC, Nine Inch Nails, Chevelle, Disturbed, A perfect Ciricle, Dio, Iron Maiden, Tool, Linkin Park, Stained, and my favorite, The Offspring. There are other bands I like like Shinedown, Nightwish, and Evanescence.
Funny thing is thats all metal mostly. Nightwish has softer music. But I like classical music, two of my favorite songs are Ave Maria, Fur Elise and Nocturne.

One of my exes introduced me to irish music and the Cheaper than Food CDs. Music from other cultures can be amazing sometimes and also folk music. I have a CD called "Deep in the Faerie Forest" which is beautiful as well as "The MasterHarper of Pern" CD. I adore Enya too, which I think everyone has to love her. It all depends on my mood though. Sometimes I want country, Cheyrl Wright, Andy Griggs (which I can't find my CD of  ), SHeDAISY, Blue Country etc etc. I like contemporary christian as well, Casting Crowns, New Song, Jars of Clay & 4 Him being some of my favorites. I also enjoy Cher, Def Leppard, Sheryl Crow, Maroon 5, Evanescene, Alannah Myles, a few of Meatloaf's songs... Disney music and Alvin & The Chipmunks... even Veggie Tales... I adore my poetry CDs too, not music but CD all the same. Typically when people are brave enough to ride in my car I just hand them one of the CD cases and tell them to pick what they want to listen to. I like most of my CDs and theres enough selection that it's impossible for someone not to find ay least one CD they like. If nothing else, I have a few soundtracks that should interest them. |

I like all kinds of stuff. I adore Jimmy Eat World, Hot Rod Circuit, old Dashboard Confessional stuff, Mae, Armor for Sleep, The Postal Service, Something Corporate...
