I just found this and reread it to see if I still agree with it, and I do. Situations change and names fade, but the underlying problem hasn't and probably will never go away.

::Sigh:: Yer all still griping about our destroying your castle? Get over it. And as I've been stating. Consent is an attempt to legally mode. If you can't handle any and all situations thrown at you in this box, then don't RP. Period. Stop whining about me here. One of you has something to say about me, then say it to me. Not on some damn board.

Don't flatter yourself. If you could read, you'd notice that it hasn't been updated since september. Furthermore, as with most threads on this board, it doesn't have anything to do with what it's named after (which isn't you)...and any mention of you ended in April.
Back to the point. Destroy the castle? LOL. When will you realize that when you step into a KoGM room you're the one who is moding? These rooms don't follow your twisted interpretation of free form rules. It's that simple. When you step into a GM room you're on our turf, following our standards. And don't rag on us because we use different rule sets then you do-- I can name a million other places with similar rules behind it.
N.B. Oh yeah, in my opinion your version of FFG stuffed with b/s as well. It's just a ploy to unite a million forumless "lustful saiyan inn'' 's (and other variants) owned by xxzaiGOKUaf456632 under one system-- which isn't all that bad, but your version sucks even more. ::blowz up world:: anyone?
*Snort* And if it was up to me I would tell this directly to you. But you change active s/n's so much in an attempt to get in the institutions that blacklist you so much that I'd never know who to address it too.

That's it... I'm talking now and here.
Actually. This is an old thread. And, as I was chatting with Kolava mun as he wrote this amendment originally, I assure you that you were merely an example later on and not the primary focus of the endeavor.
This is my suggestion instead. Let us all either agree to disagree or take the time to realize that our strengths are in different areas at times. Example, Nicho mun and Solace mun do a terrific job of running a very large kingdom. Want to know what would happen to Goldenmyst without them? It would not exist. I am sick to death of hearing ill words concerning Nicho... thats bull. He kept this group together and building. Yes, people left. You see, that is part of keeping it running... when people leave... you move on! You don't stubbornly cling to what was unless you think an entire kingdom should sink for one person. I certainly couldn't keep this place running... I admire them both. I adore them both. Until you can honestly say you understand the muns in the slightest, you don't get the right to judge them. Sometimes people have a short fuse for good reason. If you attack them, you only make their hardships worse... and that makes you horrible.
And Dustin did a lot to match the orcs to us, to make it possible for us all to rp. If anyone takes the time to look at the organization they would realize he has spent much time, effort and planning into it. He is passionate about what he plays and puts an inordinary amount of work into his orc character. He hasn't acted lately in the manner that I expect and know of him, granted, but I think that is a mix of stress from running a new, growing group. GM was possibly just the breaking point and he went off.
Kale mun, dear, what is the point of playing a game that isn't fun? If someone goes knowingly and willingly into the SL with you then fine... but you can't come in, destroy a kingdom and then leave. That isn't more than a few well worded posts and then kaput. Hardly entertaining, even for you. And I saw the log... it was more OOC than RP. Come now, silly, don't be ridiculous...
This fits for Vaylen too, people. Keep the OOC and IC seperate. Vaylen's mun is much sweeter than his character but I observed that he was treated as though that wasn't the case. Trust me on this one... I've been compared to Nym but you don't do the sort of work I do without raising your voice. I am not Nym. My work drained too much of the sweetness from me.
My suggestion, reread the actual amendment again. We need all types to make the world of RP a diverse and interesting place. And as for GM members taking over rooms? Bah, I say. Kindly, people, cease to refer to us as though we are some mindless, collective whole. Simply because someone is a GM member does not suddenly mean they should be pinned in place. Neither does that mean the actions of one represent the whole.
We are a group of differing individuals who are loosely placed together in this kingdom, to support one another and give each other a place that our characters can come together in a continuous, trustworthy setting. A place to really develop our characters. Had I not had that oppurtunity with Nym, she would still be huddling in her robes, watching all with distrust and hiding behind Maximus quietly. She still gets skiddish when out of her known territory, but she's improving...
My point is. This is ours. Goldenmyst is not simply a setting and a room name. It is, as Cherise I believe originally said, a family. We all have our own individual sets of people we trust, we enjoy playing with, and I wish other people would take that into consideration. I'm not saying your bad guy can't be horribly evil... but if he kills the good guy, he has to find a new one. And that denys you of long term rp with a rich history in conflict... see what you miss out on when you immediately go into "mun consent is moding and so I'll kill off your character". That's forcing and thats no fun.
Kolava mun did a terrific job on this amendment. It gets the point across while still having it's humorous parts. A well earned lesson, learning to laugh at oneself.
