Damnit
There was something men never understood or would ever tame, not even Riley could hope to tame that in Lina; her temper.
She was obligated to let Lina go, truth have it she wouldn't have wanted to let that woman slip away from such a greeting and almost would have felt rejected but she understood Lina. Family first.
She lingered close, watching then Lina was gone off dashing like a ball of fire away from Vincent and Desari though the topaz gaze didn't linger on either. She knew of Desari but still human ways seemed alien to this wolven one. Fighting. Hate. Death. Love. Blood. Those were things she understood to be the base of everything.
Yeah, head start was given then shifting into her hispo form as those wolven limbs carried her quickly along side of Lina's steed while tail flying behind as the beast moved like a shadow.
She barked, thanks to her fae powers she could actually speak human tongue in this form.
"Stop runnin' already, or at least tell me if we're goin' somewhere?"
Lina could run, to cool her mind off but Riley was not allowing her to pent things up; irish woman had worked too hard in repairing Lina physically and emotionally to risk any further bruising. And if Lina didn't say something soon that damn lupine was gonna pounce her right off. Pick... your choice.

As the girl stood at the door the statue spoke "I would prefer that while you are in my charge you would remain here until your mother returns. I assure you she is fine and no harm has befallen her and will be returning soon"

Running.
Yes and no.
She was running not because she was hurt, but because she knew that if she stayed, she would kill.
It was something that had been harder to control since her last resurrection. The instinct to kill anyone or anything that hurt those that she loved.
Breathe.
Her breath came out in more of a snarl as she thought of how her sister could be absolutely devistated by the choice that Vincent makes. And then there was Kavan.
Bastard.
She hated him. He was no good. Not for Vincent, not for Desari. He was trouble for both of them and she knew it.
Powerful.
She was a Goddess. Goddess of Dragons. Given a divine power by the God of Forge and Fire to control the element of fire completely. It would be simple for her to turn them both into nice little crispy critters on the ground. But that would only serve to hurt her sister more. And as she told Vincent and Kavan, she would NOT be responsible for any of her sister's pain.
But they could be.
Riding hard, long firey hair pulling loose from the braid that ran down her back, she moves in and out of the trees in the forest with a skill unlike any other rider. When she was on Shadow they were one. She didn't even have to call out to him.
It wasn't long before she felt the wave of that all too familiar, but loving wolf at her side. Looking over, emerald hues blazing a shade of green that was not usually seen, she pulls up on the reins to bring Shadow to a stop. Breathing almost as hard as her horse, she leans forward and rests her head against Shadow's mane.
"Noo..." Sighs. "I am nay going anywhere in particular, Riley. Just blowing off some steam you could say."
After a moment of silence, she lifts her head and looks at her lover.
"If he hurts her, Riley, I'll kill him. That's why I can't be there. What good is it if I become the one to cause her the most pain? I can't let that happen. You need to go back and get him and his brother out of my castle. If they stay, I won't be responsible for what happens. Desari will understand. And if she chooses to follow them, that's her choice. But that would be better than me slaughtering them and her hating me."
With that she swings down off Shadow and flops to the forest floor next to the wolf reaching out to run her hand over her soft furcoat.
"I don't know what's come over me. The urge to kill is getting harder and harder to control." Lowers her head and looks at the ground. "Just go back and get them out of there. Not just for Desari. But for their own safety as well."
She knew it would be a senseless killing. And to her normally rational mind, that just wasn't acceptable.

Those now silver hues had watched Lina leave, a sick grin on his face the entire time as she had spoke. His want for her had died when she couldn't stay loyal he just loved joking about her, for thats all she really was but he let he continue on her incessive bantering. As she may of thought of killing him, she would have had no chance, for two reasons, his new power and the most important. Lina would hesitate for she would not want to hurt her sister, he wouldn't care about Desari's feeling when it came to cutting Lina open and piking her head in front of Goldenmyst. When she finally left those silver hues looked to Desari, after her abrupt kiss.
"Had she even made a motion for her sword I swear." And Now he yelled his voice shaking the very foundation of the tower and the aura radiated from him sweeping over the tower and garden. "She is angry at Kavan for messing with you? He has never done anything except try to help, so help me god if she says one more displeasing thing about my blood for she shall rue the day."
Now the kiss would hit him and the silver would fade first to gold, then back to his sapphire hues as he would reach forward pulling her into his arms, tilting his head ever so slightly as he closed his eyes and kissed her deeply, not only throwing in his love for her but his love for all thing in his life. He did love her, despite the fact he kept running, he had never been pining, just knew he had a habit of making mistakes and never wanted to hurt anyone else. Lina just had a habit about rambling about what she knew not. As the kiss parted he would look at Desari and smile, those sapphire hues only adding to his loving smile.
"Can you forgive a blundering fool of a man? Desari, in the end, for me, sunrise and sunset look nowhere as beautiful as you, but are the only things that come close that remind me of you when I am not here to see you. Yes I love war, but nowhere near as much as I love you or my children. I love war because its what I was born into, as my brother says, history only changes because those who bleed to change it. Humanity knows war, I just excel at it. And if I don't come home one day," He would place his forehead to hers, their eyes staring into one anothers as he spoke. "I just haven't picked my ass up from napping in the blood of my enemies and will return shortly." He would then grin.
"Desari Alexis O'Monaghan, I love you more than anything in this world. Your my power, my emotion, my breath, my life and my everything." He would go to one knee, and from his pocket would not come a bit of Ezrebrum, or any blade, but the last remnant he had to remember his own mother by, a Brood Engagment Ring, made of his father's soulstone, and a bloodstone in the middle of his fathers blood. "It is not a piece of my own soulstone, or my blood, but I will give you one forged of my own when I can go through with the process. But will you marry Desari, love of my life?"

She sighed as he ranted about her sister. Good God would they ever get along?
“She is angry because she loves me. She is my sister and simply wants me happy. As for Kavan, I love him because he is your brother but there are days where he can be even more difficult then you.”
Her words were abruptly cut off as he kissed her. She was over whelmed with the power that flowed over her from him. She was shocked as he broke the kiss and stumbled back a little as his words sunk in. She fell to her knees as he dropped to his and held out the ring to her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and nodded.
“Yes I will marry you Vincent. And yes I will forgive you. And I care not if the ring is plain gold or the biggest diamond in the realm, it comes from your heart and you soul and that is all the matters to me. You are as well my power, my emotion, my breath, my life, my blood. I pledge my heart and soul to you.”
She pushed him back til they were laying on the rubble strewn floor, her hand cupping his cheek. Her eyes bright and open. She had waited for this moment for what felt like her whole life. Anyone who was within distance of her, could feel the wave of pure happiness as it rolled over the lands of GoldenMyst. She grinned.
“This floor is not very comfortable. I think we should go to my rooms and just be together right now. I love you Vincent and can not wait to start our lives together.”

Arrogant? Apparently this woman had not met Vincent. All he could so was let the simplistic smile cross his face as she called him handsom. Quickly she exonerated herself in his mind, and maybe sometimes he was a bit exorbant.
"My apologies, had I known that your comment was made in jest, I would have not have acted so. Sorry for my misfeasance."
One hand would come forth from under the white cloak, those icy hues carrying a facade of white within the pale moonlight.
"The names Kavan Marius Cambridge, King of Golandra, Blade of the Soulstones, and God of Valor. Pleased to meet you mi'lady."

Oh holy crap, he had more names then anyone she knew. And he was saying he was sorry. Damn she was most certainly a ruffian compared to him.
"Apology accepted and please accept mine. Um it was rude of me to presume anything."
She held out her hand and smiled.
"I am Phoenix. Phoenix McMahonn. Um no tittles to speak of and my middle name is to horrid to mention. Tis a pleasure to meet you as well."

His eyes seemed somewhat ambulant, as his head tilted to his right ever so slightly as curiosity began to rise with him. Her blandishment had caught him off gaurd. Noting his own uneasiness he began to look at himself in circumspect.
"Your middle name cannot be not that horrid mi'lady. Why not say it? You should be unabashed by a name your parents gave you, well unless you hold them in some desolate part of your heart."
~Curses you, you ignorant debauchee of a brother! I feel odd, a woman calling me handsom just feels fictitious to me. My fidelity has always been to my beliefs and duty, but she... VINCENT LEON CAMBRIDGE WHAT IN FATHERS NAME DO I SAY~
He would only blink as he sent his thoughts to his brother. This whole situation of him not knowing what to say was a monstrosity to him. His mind was in complete pandemonium.
"It is kind of a pain to have so many titles, so much responcibility and so little time."

His white teeth would flash behind another grin as he muttered unter his breath, the room around them seeming to become hazy and things would begin to come together, almost as if all the damage that had happened was reversing itself, becoming the once palatial room it was and the hazy would become solid once more. Then he would pick her up laying her upon the extravagant bed and lay beside her holding her close to himself.
"I have spent so much time on my own endevors and ignored what I had here in fear of hurting you when I was hurting you more by running, but now..."
He would wince as his brothers voice screamed in his head, his eyes glowing gold for that moment.
~You deranged idiot of a man! Why are you yelling in my head. If you want her to like you be hearty! Tell her she has beautiful eyes, and you love her hair. Then get her to laugh and be romantic and sweet. I am sorry but you never had my debonair ways, so you have to go with what I said and be as much of yourself as you can without driving her off... like you did with Ketheliara. Now leave me in peace. I am engaged now and want to enjoy it without your incessive rambling and shinannigans.~
"Now I just want to enjoy the path we have ahead of us now, together."

Peering downward at the two she flapped her wings, smiling softly to herself as she slowly moved to the side, placing her hands and feet against the side of the tower. Scaling upwards now. Sitting upon the roof she wrapped her tail lightly around it.
Her eyes turning towards the moon. Such beauty. She took in a deep breath, then as she was about to rumble a roar into the night air she stopped. Oh.. people slept this late at night!
Hushing herself she let her tail flicker back and forth just a bit more. Thinking of random thoughts..
