"See, right there, Brandon. I wanted you to interfere. I wanted you in my life along with Riley. Why do you think she brought you back? She brought you back for me. She knew how much I loved you. She knew that I had hopes for us. But now... now I just don't know. I don't understand what you are anymore. And it..." She looks down at the ground, eyeing her boots for a moment before swiping the toe of her boot across the stone floor of the castle. "...it just... scares me. How can I trust what I don't know? Sure, you are still Brandon in a sense. You have all his memories and such, but what are you really? An entity of energy? How can one love someone that doesn't really exsist?"

He looked to her for a moment and shrugged. "I am.... Still trying to figure out exactly what. But at present it seems I am a conscience part of the energy force that moves the seasons. Makes the trees grow leaves turn part of Nature itself and as such I can control it manipulate it master it whatever" He could even create life or end it he suspected though he had not inspected it. "Until I understand this I cant tell you anymore"

"Well when you figure it out, let me know. Seems you have a long road ahead of you when it comes to learning what you are now."
She looks back up at him again.
"I can't give my heart to someone that is so unsure of themselves. And then we go back to the trust issue. I love you, Brandon. I always will. But without that bonding trust we once had, things will never be the same. I'm sorry. I know that you will do your best to serve me and the kingdom, and I am grateful for that. Your support is more appreciated than you know. And because you know me as well as you do, that can actually be an asset in helping me make this kingdom great again."

He listened to her silently and as he did so his eyes seemed to begin to glow. He looked down for a moment than nodded. "So the only reason that we ever had any kind of bond was from our dragonic connection? We had a son together Gelina seems that purchases something between two beings" His eyes were beginning to glow brighter but if he was getting upset there was no sign.

She raises a brow. "I had a son, Brandon. You were no where to be found. I thought you to be dead remember? You never even saw him or knew about him. I couldn't find you to tell you. And yes, a huge part of the bond we had was dragonic. That couldn't be helped. It was one of the biggest things that drew me to you. With that gone now, I have no idea what to hang on to anymore."
Ah yes, and therein lies the confusion that was felt by so many around her. Her heart pulled in so many different directions. A part belonging to each person she loved. That was what made all this so damn hard.

He walked around there area for a moment and found a discarded scrap of material clung to a tree..."You see this useless scrap of material? Let me show you something" He stepped back from her and held out his hand palm open the material lain out in it. His eyes flashed and the material caught fire... It burned for a moment than the flames went out and there was a flash. The material didn't burn like it should have.. it was now just a small orb of glowing energy. It fluxed for a second than changed shape. into more egg shape.
The light faded and it was indeed an egg. only within a few very short moments the egg hatched into a baby dragon which hung suspended in his hands. It was a black dragon but it lacked the silver tger stripes unique to only him. He looked to her as the hatchling chirped and cooed as baby dragons do. It seemed completely unafraid that it was suspended by his power in the air. or that it was just conceived impossibly out of a scrap of material. "Lina I am not asking for your heart right now, I am asking for your friendship and understanding while I discover why it is that I can do these sorts of things" Then with that he levitated the hatchling to her to take from the air

She watches, then blinks, canting her head at the hatchling. "Brandon, that scares me more than anything I have ever been gifted with or learned."
Plucking the baby dragon out of the air, she cuddles it to her to keep it warm, listening to its little churps and trills as it curls up against her and settles down. Heh, and advantage of being the Goddess of Dragons. Running her finger over it's head and down its scaley back, she looks back at Brandon again.
"There was a time that all you wanted was my heart, Brandon. It's a shame that time has passed." A small half smile at him before looking back down at the dragon again.
"If you can do this, create life like this, there is no telling what else you can do. The only thing that worries me now, Brandon, is that you could become quite dangerous. What if you loose control of this? What if you can't contain it and keep it close to you? Think about it from where I am standing as the leader of a kingdom full of people. We have to make sure that you know who and what you are, what you are capable of, and how to control it so that it never hurts anyone."

He nodded at this, "Yes Lina I understand that which is why I have been delving into it.. I also have not eaten or slept since I left Rileys cabin after she pulled me from the Umbra I do not require it. I get everything I need from the sun light. I do not understand this all yet but I will I do know that I will not lose control of it.. this is not going to be a bad thing. I can not explane why i know this but I do, I need you to trust me I am taking every precaution. To find out the extent of my abilities. Thus far I have found none. I will admit it is a little scary but fascinating at the same time." He looked to the small dragon. "In essance I may not be just a dragon anymore. But I am not necessarily not a dragon either. I am a little bit of life in general. Creation in the flesh so to speak" he shrugged just trying to find words to describe it and realizing he was sort of failing.

No, he wasn't completely failing. She was starting to get it. It was just something that was so raw to her. Rubbing the little dragon's eye ridges, almost putting him to sleep, she looks back at Brandon again.
"Can I keep him?" Another small smile before she spoke again. "I will trust you on this for now, Brandon. I really don't have a choice do I?" Canting her head at him again.
"If anything, and I mean anything, goes wrong, you had better come to me immediately. I'll do whatever I can to help. Alright?"
The small dragon now purring at her petting. Funny, the name Brandy suddenly pops into her head.

He smiled to her "Of course you can keep him.. and Brandy might be a good name for him. Thank you for understanding. And I will work hard to help you like i promised" He looked to the hatchling and stroked it's back gently a swell of excitement at the fact that he had just created it and proud of it also strangely he felt affection for it like a parent.. he knew this little one would be spoiled with lina and was happy to ler her have him.
