She came to a halt. Her horse kicking up dirt and rocks as his hoofs skidded across the ground. She let out a blood curdling scream and sent all the creatures within the woods scurrying away. She looked at her vacant cabin and began crying. Something she only did when no one was around. After everything that happened with the Drow's this morning, the power was still pulsing within her. The demon within her had taken control and done something that it had only done once before. Taken souls. When DarkFyre was let loose, she lost her mind. Literally. She had no control over what happened or how she acted afterward. All she remembered was the taste of blood and flesh between her lips and she shivered at the memory. It filled her with power. Once the power began to fade, in that instant, self doubt flooded her. Self doubt about being a mother, a friend and a lover. Fuck, she had taken off in such a tizzy, she did not think of Anduin or Cambridge. She had screamed at Hexen and cursed at Gelina. She slumped over the neck of her horse and sobbed. She was in deep shit if she ever went back. She could always open her cabin again and travel back and forth. Good fucking god, she had blown up the fireplace. Sliding off her horse, she took up the reins and began walking to the little stable behind her cabin. After taking care to brush, feed and stable her horse for the night, she slowly moved towards the cabin. A quick incantation and the door swung open. Walking thru the cabin, she made it to her bed and collapsed. With enough power left within her, she slammed the door shut. Sending a mental message to the imps about Cambridge. Pulling the covers over her head, she passed out from exhaustion. She cried in her sleep as the new nightmare’s began.

Anduin had left the castle earlier in the day, having had to get the now-completed weapons from the forge. He carried the weapons in his arms, the sword in their custom-made scabbards as he walked into his room. Slowly setting the weapons onto his desk, he was just about ready to lay down when he sensed pain, staggering slightly as the pain triggered memories of his own, memories of when he was consumed by Death's essence. He managed to shut the memories away, his mind still reeling as he ran out of his room, practically barreling over the servants in the hall. He got out to the stables and ran to his horse, a grey charger. since the horse was always left saddled, due to his orders to the stablehands, he mounted the horse, and with a flick of the reins, was off like a shot, riding out of the castle grounds, in search of the one person whom he needed to see...

During one of his self exploritory meditation sessions he sat quietly in the woods where upon he heard a scream.. not so much with his ears but in the distance he senced it more than heard it. He focused on the scream and a wave of anguish washed over his mind. More concentration and when he opened his eyes again he was standing before a small cabin in the woods. He mentally scanned the cabin and detected one life inside. A woman he had met once back in gm Tempest.. he remembered se was not particularly friendly and that if he appeared before her. Even under the banner of friendship and guidance she would most likely want to rip his throat out. Hmm What to do.. Well he was unkillable now so no harm no foul. He closed his eyes again and when he opened them he was standing beside her bed... She was asleep and seeming to be in the throws of a nightmare. He felt he should wake her and he sent a wave of calming over her mind to try and break the hold her nightmare had on her psyche. He also telepathically whispered her name into her mind to gently wake her.

She was still passed out in her cabin. Small amounts of energy would still be emanating from her. Buried deep within the forest north of GoldenMyst, her cabin was her haven. The nightmares had her tossing and turning. Nightmare's about losing Cambridge. Impossible for even to think she could be happy. She had loved Ash and he left her. She feared Anduin would do the same. She had met Angel earlier this day and knew a bond still existed. She let out a scream while still locked in the nightmare. Some where in the back of her mind she heard her name being called. She sat straight up in bed, her dagger ready to kill as she saw Brandon standing next to her bed.
"Are you crazy? Do you have any idea how close you came to having your throat slit? And pray tell why are you here?"
She was defensive as always when people got to close to her.

:Anduin rode northward, the pain still there, though not as much, as though it was supposed to guide him. He rode into the woods, maneuvering the horse between trees as the night came on, the moon the only source of light in the darkened woods. After what seemed hours, he arrived outside of a cabin, though he never had seen it before. He slowly walked up to the door and knocked, and would wait for an answer:

She hissed as she heard someone knock on the door. Very few knew where this place was, but now it seemed everyone would know where she was. Glancing to Brandon, she made her way to the living room. Before she answered the door, she lit enough candles to illuminate the front room. Swinging the door open, her jaw hit the floor as she saw Anduin. She bit her lip and began playing with her hair. Something she only did when she was nervous. She was freaking out as she began shifting back and forth on her feet.
"Hello Anduin. I did not know you knew where I lived. I am um sorry I left without leaving word of where I was."
She braced her self for what was to come.

He stood silently watching her go to the door.. recognizing Anduin he smiled and nodded. "I am sorry to disturb you but I senced your pain during my meditation and wanted to see if I could offer my assistance"

:As the door opened, Anduin looked upon Tempest, and a warm smile formed on his face: Hello Tempest...:He would say more, but then noticed Brandon inside the cabin. The smile was still there as he nodded to Brandon, then let his stone-grey eyes fall upon Tempest once more as he spoke again: It is alright. I was wondering if you were alright....

She nodded her head towards Anduin.
"Yes I am fine."
Oh what a little liar she was. Fear and self doubt were seeping into her like poison. Why coudn't she ever be honest with her self and those she cared for? She didn't meant to lie but she never wanted anyone to know how fragile she could be. She had to be tough. She did not want to be one of those females who whined and cried like a newborn babe. In truth all she wanted to do was wrap her arms around Anduin and let him hold her.

As Tempest lied to Anduin she had her thoughts and than in a voice only she could hear he whispered to her mind. And at the same time filling her with energy to help her deal with her dilema. ~There is no weakness in showing emotions Tempest He came here to you, You did not go to him. Allow him to help you.~
