She went to her room and pouted. She could give a care about dinner. How could he come, show her something wonderful and then not come back with her and her mother. Was he ashamed of her? She had over heard her mother more then once, talk about her brothers and sisters. Did he love them more then her? Such questions she had. She went to her window and watched as night came and silently cried.

She walked into the hall and smiled to Crystal. "She now angry and there is nothing I can do." She looked across the hall and saw her other two, eating supper and poking fun at each other. She smiled a little as she made her way to the table. She sat in between Isabeau and Kendrick and nodded to Sara as the servant filled her glass with klah. She hardly drank anymore. Grabbing a slice of bread, she chewed on it absently as she thought about how she was going to handle Kahlan.

~ She is just having a hard time understanding why Vincent is the way he is. She wants him to be apart of her life now even though he doesn't seem to want to be. Vincent is Vincent he hasn't changed in all these years what makes you think he will just because of one of his offspring~
Crystal paced back and forth as she listened to the two poking fun at each other, atleast they weren't arguing. She loved Desari's children and has pretty much watched them grow up since they were little. Her cubs had taken an interest in them as well.

"Oh hell Crystal, I have a hard time understanding him. Always have. I never asked him for anything. Not even when I found out I was pregnant. And I am not asking for anything now, except to take more of a role in his daughters life. There are things about him that have changed but not his disappearing acts."
She sighed and picked up a piece of deer and gave a high pitched whistle. Seeing Crystal's cubs peek out from under the table, she tossed it down to them and smiled. They were cute and hoped they and their mother would stay for a while.

Those cubs of hers scampered out from the table and pounced on the piece of deer meat and began eating it. Though the two would playfully swat at each other to keep the other from having too much to eat.
Crystal and her cubs enjoyed being around Desari and her children and would stay for as long as she would let them. Crystal would watch her cubs and shook her head at the sight of the playful wrestling.

(OCC Nay Nay I am sorry I haven't posted in a while but here is something to work with)
Time had passed since Vincent had come and gone. Things had settled a little. Kahlan was still prone to tantrums and Desari honestly could not blame her. The little girl spent more and more time in the library. Desari was waiting for something to blow up or disappear. She had gone to Tallen's wedding and was happy for him. She had been restless ever since. Something was missing but she could not put her finger on it.
Isabeau was doing fine as was Kendrick. She had taken three separate afternoons with each of her children and was happy she had done so. She was realizing more and more how quickly they were growing and that the possibilities for them were endless.
She was on her way to the stables, the afternoon sun bright, a warm breeze played with the leaves and for this brief moment, all was calm.

Crystal would take her cubs out into the woods and teach them all they needed to know about hunting. The cubs of course would rather be off playing with Desari's children or playing hide and seek in the gardens with each other.

She ran her hands over her face. Lack of sleep will do that to a person. Sitting in her solar, working on missives and ledgers, her mind wondered. The children we doing well. Even Kahlan was doing better since Vincent had disapeared again. She seemed to be more accepting of the situation. Kendrick's training was going well and Isabeau was flying thru her lesson's. Leaning over the books, she was pleased to know that RavensWood was doing well. At the rate they were going, everyone would make it thru the winter.
Diving into all her paperwork, she was done within two hours. Grabbing her klah, she went up the stairs that would take her to the south tower. Walking in, Lina was in bed, sleeping. Kyono had been here a few nights ago. She had no idea what happened between them but Lina seemed better since the visit. Sleep would do her good. Placing her mug on the night stand, she once more pulled the chaise over to the side of the bed. Pulling the covers over Lina, she grabbed the down quilt off the back of the chaise and wrapped her self in it. The children were out in the forrest with Crystal, Sara and three guards, so she knew they were safe. And that is where she fell asleep. Next to her sister.

Crystal watched over everyone as they plodded their way through the forest. Her cubs would chase after the guards and pounce on them sending the children into a fit of giggles. She hoped that Desari was enjoying her much needed break from her children, Crystal didn't mind watching over everyone as they ran about the forest playing hide and seek.
