Ah yes, the "little whore of a sister" comment did get her attention. She stops walking, yanking on the reins of her horse, bringing down his head so she talk to him.
"Did you hear that? Did you hear what she called Desari?"
Then she cocks her head at Tempest, barely resting it against Shadow's as he nodded to her questions.
"Now Tempest, is that anyway to talk about those less fortunate than you? Shame, shame."
Shaking her head in mock disgust. Albeit hiding a smirk. She may have forgiven her sister, but she would never forget. There was still much to discuss between her and Desari when the time came.
"As far as I know, he hasn't tried to take Kahlan from Desari. I think he knows that he would have to deal with my wrath only because my blood runs through that child's veins. I may not be happy with her about what happened, but I wouldn't dare let that bastard take anyone of my blood and mold them to his liking."
She finally lets go of Shadow's reins when she feels him tugging to let his head back up, and walks over to Tempest's horse to retrieve it.
"As much as Ryu thinks he's all powerful, he has no idea what I have become or what I hold in terms of power. It's always been a power struggle with us. And my favor came out of his mistake of trusting a God."
She couldn't help but chuckle at the memory of it all. Not to mention, the image of his sister empowering her as well. Something else he didn't know about. More than one divine intervention there for sure.
Now having both horses by the reins, she leads them into the courtyard of the castle. She could sense a few people in the castle, though no one of any significance. Simply servants for the time being. Wonderful, she thought. This way she could take over the kitchen and make something for her and Tempest.
And people thought she wasn't domestic. Ha.
