::He felt so free, almost like there was nothing to worry about. But there was, his kingdom was finally safe, but he'd still watch over it night and day. He saw his brothers in the sky, waving him up to join them, but he had to say goodbye to a few people first....So he stood in the main hall and waited for them to cross his path::

Silently the confusied mage would be walking around aimlessly inside the castle. He was lost actually, he had been here for almost a day, and still he hasnt found anybody who could help him.

Lonely and cold, Raine descended from her tower wrapped in a shawl and craving some heated cider. She sighed as she passed the hearth, casting a wayward glance into the fire to see if there was still anything going on in the forest.
Alas, there was not, and our faerie continued on her way.

::He reached out to touch Raine's shoulder and pulled his hand back quickly. Would it be a good idea to reveal himself to her? He didn't know...But he had to...One last time before he left. He reached out with renewed confidence and touched her shoulder, focusing on the contact so she could feel it::

Raine was never one for understanding these strange metaphysical experiences. When Drako touched her shoulder, she felt as if someone were physically there grabbing her. Startled, she whirled around with a steady backhand to where she estimated her attackers face was. How dare someone grab the Duchess like that?

::He drew his head back to avoid the slap and grabs her hand, looking her in the eye. She was able to see him. He wanted to smile, but couldn't, he knew that this was the last time he'd ever be in her presence. No words were spoken, there was just a long silence, which he spent staring directly into her eyes::

Her mouth gaped open and she froze, staring back at him. Was this for real? Was he really here?
Remembering the time that she had believed Archelo to be returned from the dead, Raine decided that this was a mistake. Drako wasn't really here, alive, holding her wrist. No, he was a figment of her imagination. A dream. A hallucination.
She was crazy.
But of course, she was also...speechless.

I don't have much time....::He let her wrist slip from his grasp as he finally let his lips form into a smile:: I've been waiting for you here...I wouldn't go without seeing you one last time.

Still disbelieving, she stared into his eyes, her own narrowed. Surely she was insane. There was no doubt in her mind.
Should she be caught talking to herself in the main hall? Perhaps that wouldn't be her lowest point, but...
But part of her wanted desperately to speak to Drako one last time. "I'm so sorry..."

Sorry for what? ::He smiled and brushed his hand across her cheek:: You don't have to be sorry for anything....
