::His eyes began to water, waiting for a response. He didn't think he'd get one before he faded out. And he pretty much knew Solace wouldn't make it in time::

She heard voices. And one was a voice that she never thought she would hear again. Following her sister's voice, she walks in. Seeing Drako, her own eyes began to water. Her big "brother". He was here. She knew that he wasn't "alive", but she could see him and hear him, and that was good enough for her.
"Drako.. " She moves to him, not sure if she could touch him or not. She still wasn't sure of these "ghost" rules. Queen of the Dead or not.
She glances at Raine then back to Drako again. "I miss you..." He would never know how much.
And for the record. Solace has the same ability that Nicho has ever since the night he made her queen of the dead.

::A smile overwhelmed his face as he pulled Solace into a great bear hug:: Yes...I'm "touchable" ::He laughed soflty and looked down to her:: I miss you too...But you better believe I'll be here with you both from this day on....::He patted his heart as he spoke the word "here"::

When he drew her in for the hug, she sunk into his arms. Other than Nicho, Drako was the only one that truly protected her. Hence being her official bodyguard.
After hugging him for a few moments, she looks up. "I want you back, it's not fair." Tears began to weld in her eyes again. "Who's going to follow me around and make sure I don't do something stupid?" A small smile breaks through the sadness in her face. "And you never got to see Paul. He's beautiful, Drako." She used to hope that Drako would take on some of Paul's training as he grew. But now, now that wasn't possible.
She may have been Drako's Queen, but the friendship that they shared was like no other. They understood one another. He was always there for her. And she for him. "I don't want to grow old without you here." It was all she could do not to break down right there in his arms. Not even her real brothers treated her as well as Drako did. With Drako gone, it would leave a big hole in her heart.

I've seen Paul...He's beautiful. And Solace, believe me...I want nothing more than to come back. But they're pretty stubborn up there...::He looked to a wide beam of light, which was no reaching out to him:: They won't let me go again, No matter how hard I try ::Solace and Nicho had been the one bright spot when he first moved here. He had no friends...but after one talk with Solace, their friendship bloomed and would stay with him forever. He hated leaving her behind, but he knew he couldn't take her with him...What a stupid thought. He sighed and looked to the ground:: I have to go....

"Noooo." Beginning to cry outwardly now, clinging to his shirt. After a brief loss of control, she sniffles, contains herself, and let's go of his shirt, backing up slowly, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I love you as if we born of the same blood, Drako Lathen. You were the closest thing to a brother I ever had."
Then she glances at the beam of light, holding back a low growl at it, then looks at her sister and back to Drako again. She finally gives him a soft smile. "I'll see you again. Just don't sit up there and laugh at me when I do something stupid down here."

You won't do anything stupid. Just remember...Trust your instincts...It'll be me trying to tell you what to do ::Drako eternally swore to protect Solace, and that is exactly what he was going to do:: I love you the same way sis...and always will::He smiled at that and leaned in, kissing her on the cheek. He looked to Raine, hoping that her words wouldn't be too late::

Raine looked suddenly distressed as the realization finally hit her like a ton of bricks - she was not insane, he was really here. Solace proved it!
"No...no...nonono!" She reached her hand out to him, taking a slow, timid step forward. "Don't go!"

She looks over at Raine. "Utoh..." She whispers softly. Poor Raine. It was just now hitting her what Solie already knew. She knew it from the very start. Raine loved him. She knew that Raine would never leave herself vulerable again, but she knew that Raine held Drako in her heart.
Moving quickly, she goes to her sister's side, taking her by the shoulders. This wasn't going to bode well for Raine and Solie knew it. Another love lost. Pretty soon, Solie thought, she was going to have to lock her sister up because she went insane. But she shakes that thought from her head. Cahler blood was stronger than that. They'd both proved that time and time again. Yes, this was a great loss to them both, one loving him, one in love with him.
Looking over Raine's shoulder at him, she nods to Drako, letting him know that she would take care of Raine. Just as she knew that he would do the same for both of them from above. "May God keep you safe, Drako." Her last soft spoken words to him while she tries to hold her sister together.

::He bit his bottom lip and reached out his hand, taking hold of Raine's. He was scared...Scared of what was to become of him, scared of being forgotten, but there was nothing he could do now. He took one last look into Raine's eyes as he slowly faded away. He'd never walk in these lands again, but you can bet your ass that he'd be watching over it, and his loved ones, like a rock. He died for these people, I'll be damned if he stopped protecting them now:: Until we meet again...right? ::Were his last words, his image and touch already gone. And off he was to the unknown, for all of the answers that he had looked for throughout his life, and to an eternity of watching over his kingdom, an eternity that he looked forward to::
