In the back of his mind he heard Lina's voice. Which helped him calm himself more. He started to clear his mind. As he did such, Faust poped into his head out of nowhere..His oldest son..His first pride and joy, Then Xia..his youngest daughter. Then Tobias, his pride and joy as well. His eyes would close slowly.
Even in this cold weather, a sweat drop would be seen comming down the side of his face. His body showed no signs of being nervous, It was perfectly still, the winds blowing his hair and clothing around slightly. Keeping his stance, he was calculating the perfect time to strike.
Suddenly, Nicho, Solace, Raine, Karan, Nym, Gelina, and everybody else who he has trusted in the castle came into his mind. Was this the pin point to a break down? No..No Syn..not here. You need to keep calm. You need to stay focus. You need to protect these people. All of them, even the ones you despise in the castle.
Softly he would part his lips, a cool breath leaving his lips. His mind was clear, blank. His heart clear of thoughts and feelings. His soul, in a safe place.

After having Lina collapse from the cold weather, and Nicho ghosting her back into the castle, Syn followed of course, getting some things from the castle. Slowly his body would be heading back to the scene of so far two deaths. His eyes would be lavander, a smile on his face as the winds would calmy brush against him. Soon enough, he felt rain drops on his face. Smiling softly still, he would enter where so far the massacare had begun. Sitting down in the middle of the area, his eyes would soon start to shift color. His rage started to build up in the matter of seconds.
Flames rose up from his body, his hair turned blue, his eyes turned dark red. Fangs grew within his mouth. This pure chaotic demonic energy would be felt all across the lands of GoldenMyst. Syn finally let out all of the anger that had lay dorment within his body for this very moment.
Anger, Rage, Rage, Anger, Blood, Rage, Kill, Rage, Anger, Kill, ... Revenge...Was what he thought in his mind.
This..was his calling card to Anduin, or as everybody knew him now as..Death..

Knowing what she does and now having a way to keep warm in the coldness that lies to the north, she leaves the castle and goes after Syn. She'd explained everything to Ellen, and would hopefully be able to explain every thing to Nicho when she got back. Now all she had to do was keep Syn from loosing himself in this battle.
In dragon form, she hovers overhead then circles a few times before landing in the clearing behind Syn. Shifting back to human form she takes a few steps closer, realizing that she was seeing what everyone feared the most. His demon form.
She cants her head and watches him for a moment, feeling that he had complete control over it for the moment. She didn't say anything, for she didn't want to distract his focus.
Quietly, she backs up into the brush at the treeline, settling down to wait for Death's answer to Syn's challenge. She would be there til she was needed. While adjusting her position, she feels a wave of energy that she hadn't felt in ages. It was coming from the north. Pulling her gaze from Syn's statuesqe form, she looks northward. Ravenswood was in that direction. Could it be? Could she be that close? Where they that far north and she didn't realize it until now? Eyes narrow as she feels her sister reaching out to Syn. This wasn't a good time. If his concentration was broken at this point, he could loose himself in the demon that he's held at bay for thousands of years.
Reaching up to the diamond necklace at her throat, feeling the heat radiating from it, keeping her warm, she looks back at Syn, holding back a growl of frustration and anger. They already lost Drako and Angel, she would be damned if they lost another.

With total control, he kept on sending those waves of energy across the lands. Those red hues would open widely. Then suddenly a burst of energy came out from him. That mindlink threw his concentration. Slowly he rose up, those hues looked lost. His hands would be moved infront of his face, those red hues would be staring down onto the skin.
"Its good...to..be.." He felt somebody else around, he whipped around in the direction of where Gelina was, taking a step foward he would growl and snap those fangs. He tried to move, but he couldn't. His body would back off slowly, closing his eyes those familar lavander hues would appear.
~Desi..this isnt the best time to distract me..~ He said, shaking his head, he felt a bit fuzzy. He hadn't lost his hold of his demon side in ages. Sighing softly he looked around. Blinking he shifted back into the controlled demon. Sitting down once more on the ground, he went back to waiting patiently, sending those energy waves.

She heard him move and looked back over at him, pulling her gaze from the north. Still behind the brush, kneeling, she looks up, seeing him take a step a forward then stop. When he growled and snapped at her, she falls back onto her arse, startled that he would do that to her, and blinks. As he regains control and turns back around, she growls in the back of her throat.
"God damnit..." Whispering so low that it couldn't be heard. Then a cold shiver ran up her spine, breaking through the heat that the necklace was giving her. Pushing to her feet, she stands, sword unsheathed in her hand at her side. This was getting beginning to become tedious. This waiting. It was then she began to worry just how long Syn could hold out in this form.

::Caged? No, Drako was too strong to be caged. He easily broke free of his prison. A smile crossed his face as he could no longer sense Angel around. Nicho must have taken care of that. Though he was free of the cage, being free of death was another story. He began thinking of what he could do to help bring death down, when an idea came to him. He had to find Anduin's soul, somewhere in this abyss, and when he did he could merge with it. Surely that would give him the power he needed to break free of this spell death had over him. He immediately began searching, but not before he muttered a few words of ancient Telsarian, causing him to burst into flames. Now death wouldn't be too comfortable, and Drako would do anything he could to throw him off guard::

Anduin would stagger backwards, Death feeling the loss of Angel's soul. He would look from Lina to Syn, and knew he was outmatched, for their powers were great. Taking a few more steps back, he would stop, a cruel grin etched now on Anduin's face as he grabbed his scythe, holding it with both hands as he felt a call in his mind. He would then begin to chant an ancient summons, used in times of great need:
Life to Death, Death to Life I summon thee now, master of ancient strife Bring to this kingdom blood and war Bring them to their knees, and end this all!! :
As the last part of the summons was spoken, Death would slam the scythe into the ground. There would be a mighty gust of wind as flames would burst from the ground. When the flames die away, another robed warrior would be standing there. Under the robes though, the figure was garbed in red and black armor, spikes rising from the shoulder plates. The helm that the warrior was wearing had two curled ram horns attached to the sides, the tips of the horns sticking out from under the hood of the robes. Taking a step forward, two longswords appearing the figure's hands, the robed figure would speak in an unnervingly familiar voice: War is here....: With that Death would let out a bone-chilling laugh, pulling his scythe from the ground as he would take the opportunity, swiftly moving past War. Seeing where Gelina was, he would swing the scythe in that direction, black scythe-shaped projectiles flying in that direction.

(Ok Sis, I hate to break it to you, but this SL is taking place in chats as well. Your post isn't going to be valid because we played out some of it this morning based on Mobius's last post before yours. Sorry. Not trying to be mean. It's just the way it's working out.)
(For the rest of you, this log took place this morning in the GM Website chatroom. It was the only way that Death could play in a chat. This is what happened.)
(sorry about the crappy editing job, I was pressed for time, but you get the idea.)
[Pendor_Fae] The hobbit decides to take a walk in the forest. He'd sensed some strange things going on lately and had a mind to investigate. He's dressed in a plain looking robes, carrying a staff that is taller than he is. Looking about the forest, everything seems natural and ordinary. What was it he'd been sensing?
[Death] Death would see where Gelina, and would turn towards her, a dark aura flowing around him as he lifted the scythe. He would swing the scythe in that direction multiple times, black scythe-like projectiles flying in that direction, each projectile, letting out a screeching sound as they head towards their target.
[Gelina] She hadn't had time to crouch back down when Death appeared, she was standing on the other side of the brush watching over Syn as he sat in the clearing. In a split second, she realizes that these blades are heading right for her. Raising her sword, she deflects most of them, one of them catching her in the shoulder, another catching her side as she dives out of the way.
[Pendor_Fae] Ears twitch as he hears a piercing screeching sound. He turns to head that way, ambling along as if there was no reason to hurry.
[Veronus] Veronus would slowly make his way through the markets. Something weird was a foot. And he could sense it. His long white hair moved in his steps as his dark blue hues looked about.
[Pendor_Fae] He'd closed up the shop today, business had been slow lately at any rate. He walks towards the source of the noise slowly, though as fast as he can, leaning on the staff for support.
[Death] Death would walk towards where Gelina dove out of the way, a malicious grin forming on Anduin's face as he drew closer. Standing over Gelina, she could feel the cold emanating off of Anduin's body. Death would look at her as he let the scythe hover beside him, pale lips moving as he spoke: Well Gelina, I thought you were faster than that. Oh well, now you will pay for interfering, just like that fool Drako did.: with that, he would hold his palm out, and black lightning would dance around his fingertips. Before long, Anduin's right hand would be black with energy, then, with a simple gesture, would fly out of his hand, slamming into Gelina. For a moment, it seemed as though he had killed her, but would then realize that all of the death magic was being redirected at something else, another life inside of Gelina's body.
[Angel_Fierce] -Sate would kill her.. yes.. he would when he found out she was back out here. Looking around she felt him. Giving a small growl as she wouldn't interfere.. no.. could she afford to? Possibly not. She had all her strength now, but she looked to him, she could almost cry seeing Anduins body in such use. No matter.. Then she watched the scene.. hiding for a moment.. sheilding her thoughts from him.. creeping around behind him-
[Veronus] He then saw Death and smirked. He picked up a rock and laughed lightly. He then threw it at the side of his head. Trying to take his attention from him. "Hey...you want blood. Get mine..." He smirked at him. Suicide? Hell yeah.
[Gelina] The cold, no, not the cold. She didn't have time to get up before she looks up to see him standing over her. She was bleeding, she was in pain when she tried to scramble to move, but not in time before that black energy shot into her rendering her unconscious, but taking the life of the baby she carried instead. It was now up to anyone else that was there to take him out since she had failed to do so.
[Angel_Fierce] -She Saw her fellow dragon fall, and her eyes would widen. She jumpped out behind him.. but not on him as she had done last time she would growl for a moment, speaking harshly as she glared to him- Death! I challange thee.. -She was trying to get his attention away from Gelina.. away from her already hurt friend.. no.. he couldn't harm her more. Then she turned her head to who he was looking to.. Vernous.. her heart squeezed. Her brother. No! Within her hands she would form a ball of fire, growling a bit. She would deal with Vernous later, but she sent a ball of fire towards the lighting, each strong energy cancelling each out. She was rather stronger then she had been. Motive? No one knew but her-
[Death] Death would feel the new life disappear, then would hold his hand out to her stomach, pulling the baby's soul into himself. A grin would form on his face as he would then turn towards the man who threw the rock, then would notice Angel, a chuckle escaping Anduin's lips before he spoke" You two must want to die. And you, Angel. You may have had your soul returned once, but you wont have it done twice...
[Pendor_Fae] Ah, there was some sort of disturbance in the wood. He comes upon the scene, seeing a dragon lying unconcious. and several people arguing. He walks over to the dragon's body, touching it with the staff, sending healing and power into her.
[Veronus] He then looked at Angel and growled. "Shut up Angel! You're in no condition to challenge him again!" He smirked at Death. "It's my turn this time..." He tehn slowly walked to Death and took hsi tunic off and hufed. Then he got into a fighting stance. "You can take my soul... but not without a fight. And I don't go down easily and stay down."
[Death] He would watch Veronus, a cruel grin forming on his face as he would fire black bolts of lightning at the lycan king.
[Gelina] As Pendor's healing energy moves through her, she opens her eyes with a audible gasp, her back arching up off the ground. No, she wasn't dead, but she was weak. Between the cold and the energy hit, she was useless. She looks up seeing the old man and simply stares at him. Gods did her body hurt.
[Veronus] "Gah!" He tried to dodge but they hit him too quickly. he fell on hsi side and then smirked at him. "Gotta try harder than that Stinky." he tehn jumped up and looked at him.
[Pendor_Fae] Watching the bolts of black energy fly, he wonders what this is all about. He gives the dragon a smile, his old face lined and creased as if from a lifetime of such smiles.
[Veronus] "Well...I don't have magic...but I got my claws..." He smirked and tehn rushed Death, suicide mission from hell. He then baseball slid to the ground and passed by him, but not before he extended his claw out to hsi side, hoping to atleast slash at his leg in a hit. He slid past hima nd then jumpe dup, catching hismelf to hsi feet the best he could.
[Angel_Fierce] -She watched Vernous- NO! -Quickly forming another ball of fire, she would slam it into Death, hoping he would give his attention over towards her. Her eyes shifting towards crimson red.-
[Death] A look of cold fury passed over Anduin's face, black energy billowing outward, midnight robes flaring with energy as Death would follow Veronus' motions, ignoring the cut to his leg as he would reach out, the firebal from Angel fazing him little as he would move with supernatural speed, appearing in front of Veronus in a matter of moments, Anduin's right hand reaching out, wrapping itself around Veronus' neck: So, you stupid pup, you really want to die?
[Pendor_Fae] Looking back to the dragon, he shakes his head. Thee should nae be here. Touching her again with the staff, he sends her back to Larisha.
[Veronus] He gagged and tehn grabbed at his throat. "Gaahhh....heh...really wanna be ugly? Cause you're pulling it off flawlessly there Stinky." he smirked and then jumped off teh ground, lunging hsi knee to his gut, hoping to phase him somewhat.
[Pendor_Fae] The old hobbit, having sent the dragon away, leans on his staff and watches. Interesting, what was death doing?
[Angel_Fierce] -Quickly rushing up behind death, she would slip her hand to her side, grabbing her own dagger, powered by the dragon gods, and slammed it between his ribcage, piercing the lungs. If she couldn't kill Death.. she would kill the body he was in. Anduin would forgive her for it someday. Keeping hold of the dagger she sent her energy into it, making sure everything was torn and ripped making sure that when she pulled it to the side.. tracing along his ribs, she pierced his lungs.. making a hole in it. She was making this human body useless.- [Death] Feeling the dagger slam between his ribs, and the ensuing power that rushed into his body. He would laugh, more power billowing from him as he would casually toss Veronus aside, the force of the throw slamming him into a nearby tree. Death would then turn to Angel, a feral grin on Anduin's face as he would slam his right hand into her face, knocking her aside: You think I will give up this body!? Even with all this damage, it doesnt mean I will leave, besides...: suddenly, the wounds would cover over with blackened tissue, the robes he wore cut along where the dagger went in. Feeling Veronus on his back, the scythe would fly behind the lycan, and would stab through Veronus' spine:
[Veronus] "Gaahhh..." He grabbed at Death's arm or Anduins or who evers. He let otu a roar of pain as he bounced off the tree and laid there motionless. H etehn opened hsi eyes. they were that feral red and hsi hair turned black. he then stood up and smiled At Death. then he brought hsi claws out and jumped on hsi back, thrusting his claws in and out very fast, laughing loudly as he did. He was feral, and on a suicide mission to protect Golden Myst.
[Angel_Fierce] -Actually. She wouldn't be knocked down. And she wouldn't be phased by his attack. She was different.. he could feel it, her power was beyond his control, and he knew that he could never have it. And then she looked to Vernous, she felt her heart dropped.. she then she lunged forward, slamming her dagger into his heart- You will nae have my brother! -She looked to Vernous- Run.. please.. for our sake.. run.. -She looked into his eyes.. she was pleading with him.. as she had done for him not to come here.. she would be angry with him later.. for now.. he had to live.. and heal. She kept her eyes on him- For Thor.. just leave Vernous..
[Veronus] He gagged and then looked at Death and tehn leanedd to hsi ear and msirked. "I die...you die..." As blood trickled from his chin he then took hsi claws and slammed them into the back of hsi skull and started to infuse hsi own soul into Death’s hoping for a calamity to happena nd for the souls to collapse on each other. He smirked at Angel and tehn hsi yes started to droop. "I...guess That...we won't...be...friends...for much...longer..." He then fell back. His eyes empty as his soul was taken from his body. Leavign onyl teh shell there.
[Death] He would feel Veronus' soul try to infuse itself into Death's soul. Gladly, Death absorbed Veronus' soul, just as the dagger slammed into his heart. He would back away, feeling the strength of the lycan soul. He would pull the dagger free, then would escape into the woods, having fed enough for today. [Pendor_Fae] Strange how the old hobbit just stood there watching. He now walks forward, looking at the two.
[Veronus] For once that warm body of hsi was cold. His hari turned back white and hsi eyes blue, but still so empty. His lips were a pale pink as his body laid there...limp....and lifeless.
[Angel_Fierce] -Quickly she would lean down towards the body, as she placed her hands onto his chest, nudging him- Wake up Vernous.. wake up brother.. -Wrapping her arms around his body as she seemed to be soaking in his blood now.. she cared less, crying.. she just cried.. clinging him to her.- It wasn't your time Vernous come back.. please.. -Leaning her head into his neck as she kept crying. Then she picked up his body and would head back to the castle. Nicho.. she had to find him-

Since was in such a deep concentration, he would keep on sending that energy out to death. His concentration was so much, that he didnt hear anybody, feel anybody. His mind link was completely cut off. He was serious about this. He was going to face death one on one.

Death would hear the call in his mind, feeling the dark energy pouring emanating from the demon. He would ignore it for now, slowly making his way through the forests, heading for the castle, a soft chuckle escaping Anduin's lips: War can easily handle the fool dragons and the mage, he'll feed off their hatred and battle....
