As Famine moved closer to the gardens, he would sense the wards placed around the castle and the surrounding area. A grin would be hidden under the hood of the black robes. He would then turn, sensing something different, like time has been reversed. He would move back the way he came...
Moments later, he would stop, gazing around at the trees, which, by all rights, should be rotted. He would look around, wondering what being would have the power to do this. He would spot the little man, and approach him: You! what are you doing here?

War, having nothing better to do, would summon his steed. A hell-red horse would appear, as if out of thin air, and, rising up on its hind hooves, letting out a screeching neigh. War would then mount his steed, and would ride southward. Any beast that he found, no mattter how big or small, he would invoke bloodlust within them, feeding off of their rage as they ran off, attacking anything in their path. A cruel laugh would escape from Mobius' lips as he watched a pack of wolves tear apart a herd of cattle: A matter of time now...before our work is complete.....

"Simple cheap tricks!"
From that kneeling position he would leap upward, flipping over the scythe before him with such grace and landed, that grin crossing his face as now, he was beginning to have fun.
From that crouching position he ran forward, Soulstealer making a loud humming noise as it now called for blood. As he ran forward Ezrebrum would gather all of the light around the God of Darkness, and the brightness would probably blind death from the charging god as soulstealer would cut through the air toward its target.

Death would indeed be blinded, but he could still hear, which probably saved him, for as the blade sailed towards him, Death would move to the side, the sword cutting through his robes and slashing his right arm. A chuckle would escape Anduin's lips as the air around him would grow cold, a shadowy mist flowing along the ground as Death stood there: So, you wish to see more then "cheap tricks". Well, that can be arranged: With that, the ground beneath Ryu would erupt, skeletal hands grasping at ryu's feet and legs. Death would then lunge at Ryu, his scythe he held in his hands now as he would slash at Ryu's chest:

Smiling he put both Ezrebrum and Soulstealer together like sissors, screaming as the unholy blade touched the holy sword. But now, Ryu had made his first mistake, or gave himself his first upperhand, pending on how well he maintained himself in the chaotic state soulstealer put him in. The combined evil from Soulstealer and Deaths sythe overrid Ezrebrum forcing it to fly away from his hand after he managed to defelct the Scythe.
But now, as Soulstealer was his only weapon in hand, it began to take over. Screams, not of pain but of absolute horror would erupt from Ryu. Soulstealer had been trying so hard through Ezrella's spirit in Ezrebrum, to take him over and now it was. Black steam would seem to roll over Ryu and the sword, both eyes now glowing red as he looked at Death.
"Die..." Soulstealer would slice fourth with a odd, loose grace. Ryu's whole body was relaxed. A odd and eriee change indeed.

Faced by Famine, the old hobbit simply smiles. Kronos could take any form and this form pleases him, Pendor having been in his day a timelord.
"I've warned Death, now I shall warn ye. You 'horsemen' are breaking the rules, do not summon Pestilence or ye shall be sorry."
Not that he'd do anything personally, but when servants of the gods broke the rules, the gods usually got angry.

Nym stood in her tower a moment, contemplating. There was no way she could let Kalimar go alone in his current, well, size. So it took all of 2 minutes before she started forward, whistling out the window so that Cyra would creep from the gardens and into the mage tower to assist watching over Xia. Her daughter, at least, was still napping at the moment.
"Rest quietly, my heartling," she whispered before grabbing white robes on her way out of the mage tower. The boots clicked against the stairway as she made her way to stand outside Kalimar's door, listening to the boy rummage through his things. Then, when he left, she followed.
"Not alone, then, my dear. I'll accompany you," because forbidding him to leave would have been a colossal waste of time.

A chuckle would escape from Anduin's lips as he saw the change that overcame Ryu, the scythe he twirled in his left hand. He would suddenly stop the scythe, and would lunge. When he neared Ryu he would simply fade. Death would appear behind Ryu, swinging the scythe at Ryu's back:

As Nym went to stop Kalim, she would see a glimpse of metallic fingers coming out the top of his knapsack. Metallic fingers...like his old arm? What tricks did the boy have up his sleeve? Blue eyes met with hers as he spoke softly. "Please Nym, do not doubt my size. I lost your sister, and I would do well not to lose another great friend such as yourself." He took a few more steps, those small angelic wings growing to about three times their current size. He let out a slight groan from the pain this caused, but he knew if he was to do anything to help, he'd eventually have to give in to the reversal of the magical effects that made him young again. "I feel that you should stay at the castle, and protect your children." He glanced back to her. "But you're going to come anyway, I assume." The boy smiled to her. "After all, even back then, you were the only one who could get through to him." He was referring to Syn. "We should hurry and get on our way."

She didn't like it. Not at all, actually. Biting her lower lip, she noted those changed in him. She had to trust... "No, you are right. Things change, Kalimar. He used to hear me, yes, but that ended long ago. I will remain and watch over my daughter. But, just in case," she looked up, waiting.
Eventually Lady, the golden firelizard, appeared over Kalimar's head trilling excitedly. "She'll accompany you. If anything happens, she can blink between and make sure I know what has happened. That way, you are never truly alone." Which was a tactic she'd used with Kyono before, as well as sending Lady with the children from time to time when they went out exploring. Firelizards were useful little eyes, if you looked past their tendancy of muddling their images. Or the fact that they were rampant 'gossips'.
