Slowly comming out from behind a tree he would sigh softly. Shaking his head his hand would rise up and rub his chin slightly. Gaea? Luna? Apollo? Hades? Oh and his loving sister Athena was here. He started to slowly walk towards War, mind you he was behind him.
"Now, I know this is a bad time to introduce myself..but I doubt you know who I am.."
Ares said softly, those hues looking down to War. His hand slowly rising up, cracking his knuckles.

The wave of black energy coming from Famine towards the lion is partially absorbed by the barrier of plants. The lion is knocked back against Haley, the angel's protective sphere protecting them both from it's dire effects. The lion roars defiantly, but continues patrolling outside the barrier.

She screamed at the sight of blood running from Anduin's wrists, horror in her eyes as she watched the blood fall and soak into the ground. Her knees went weak, tears chocking her as she reached needingly for Gelina. Even with Luna's protection, she felt so helpless. The face looked like her brother's, the hands the same that had wed her sister and held her dragon, the voice the same that was meant to guide her niece and nephew through whatever trial they'd encounter while growing up.
She couldn't held but let out a sob, having loved her brother greatly. Wasn't that the greatest thing a human could do, though? They could love. They could mourne. Their was a life, however fleeting, of choices and consequences. It had ever been Nym's decisions in life to love, her devoted path one where she loved as much as she physically could. She loved her family and her friends. She loved her children and her dragonriders. She loved animals and even, when it seemed like all else failed, she even loved her enemies.
Now, though, seeing Anduin's body bleed, she started to be convinced that she'd failed. She'd sworn to keep him safe from Athena and Syn, but how could she protect him from death? Truly, thinking of so many she'd loved and watched die, how was it that death always insisted on being the one barrier she could never protect her loved ones from?
So she cried. She cried for Anduin's fall and for Mobius', as she could hear War from where she stood, choices. How had she failed so greatly? Where had the gentle rider went wrong, that those who she cared so greatly for would turn their backs from the good and seek darkness and destruction? She couldn't even save the man who'd once loved her so greatly, he'd given her his last name. He'd given her his daughter. Now, the chasm as so great, he'd nearly been willing to give her death.

Well one would have to say that she was quite stunned at the moment. Feeling completely inferior to those that stood before her. Goddess title or not. It wasn't the same as the ones that were here now.
When Nym asked her about who the Goddess was, she leans back over and whispers. "That's Luna. Goddess of the Moon." She knew who each and every one of them was. As Luna protected them, she had to grin a little. She couldn't help it. However, she had a really bad feeling that things were only going to get worse.

As Death moves to stand, Hades rages at his words. "YOU DARE MOCK ME! YOU DARE ACCUSE ME! YOU ARE NOTHING! YOU HAD TO INHABIT A MORTAL TO EVEN SURVIVE!" His voice was roaring, shaking the very ground they all stood on. Raising his hands in the air, eyes blazing red, the flames outlining his body grew, and in one fell swoop, he blasts Death with what gave Hades his reputation for putting fear into every mortal and halfling in the universe. The very fires of hell. Summoned up from the Underworld he rules, literally knocking Death from Anduin's physical form. Leaving Death in a state of nothing but spirit. The most vulnerable state he could be in. Without Anduin's body, Death didn't have a chance.
Hades then looks toward his Avatar. "Oh yeah, I did throw you out didn't I? What did you expect? I couldn't have half a demon running around down there while his other half was angel for Hell's sake! You're still my favorite Syn. And I still own part of you. Now, do your job and finish him!" Pointing one of those long boney fingers at Death's spirit.
"One down, three to go." Grinning wickedly over at Gaea. It was time.

A casual wave of her hands would stop the.. shockwave? Who fights wars like this? Battles were fought with weapons such as swords or spears. One had to have the right sort of weapons to carry on a war, none of this silly energy play. Especially not to a god, which was almost amusing.
By the way, how does a mortal form look onto Athena, holding her shield where War's human host would have to look on it, and not turn to stone? That whole Gorgon's bane thing? Medusa's head, snakes and all, severed and attached to her shield. Lovely little thing, her shield. Okay, actually it was a tad disgusting, but at least she'd refrained from turning them all into mice.
She actually laughed heartily at War, as one would most foolish little children. "I'm a stupid fool?" questioned the goddess of wisdom, a deadly mirth showing in the bright eyed Athena. "Oh no no no, my dear. Let me remind you of a few things," she started with the host, "Human form, it seems? That would be Gaea's, I believe. Do you breath also? Air. MY Father's domain," and with each angered word spoken, the blade of that spear started to grow brighter and brighter. Though the goddess herself was cloaked from mortal eyes, due to the gorgon's head on her shield, that light would start to be visible. An owl's angry call seeming to screech out in the air as Athena's wrath was finally invoked. "You foolish creature! You own NOTHING! You call your host demon? Then you bow to Hades. You call yourself War? Then I cast thee out from thy host, I cast thee, war, from inhabiting any human carcus within this kingdom!"
Her eyes were angry as she looked up, not liking to see her brother in the least. "Assist me for a time, Ares. I think war has forgotten who he serves?" Which would, unfortunately, be the diuo. Ugh. How she hated to cooperate with him, but her anger was directed at the insolent pest at the moment.

''YOU THINK I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS A HALFLING DOWN THERE!? IF YOU WASN'T SO DAMN BUSY IN BED WITH WHICHEVER GODDESS YOU CHOOSED TO BE WITH!"
He snapped at him, then he would blink as he saw those flames. Fear was put into him, but he wasn't going to back down so easily, but he knew that Hades can snap him like a twig in any second.
"No wonder you had so much...greif with my father. Its because he was a full blood WASN'T HE!? YOU KICK ME OUT, BUT YET YOU LEAVE MALAKYA IN THE THRONE!" Yeaa...bad time to bring these things up. Syn..fighting with his god basically. He growled and turned to Death's spirit. Holding out his spectral hand, he wrapped it around the spirit, and simply opened up those rather large fangs of his, and englufing the spirit with black hell flames. Soon after it was crisp enough, he swallowed the spirit whole..yummy..He has to thank Gaea for having the soul/spirit eating ability.

"You know? For once, I just might join you sister dear." Even when she was angry, he had to provoke her more. His hands would move out to his sides. In one had the had the flames of Hades, thanks to inherting this power because the man was his uncle. And on his right hand, the power of lightling, inhertied thanks to his father. The Gods of all Gods.
"And its not even that, look at his name. Hes making ME look bad as well!" He would huff slightly, those mortal like hues casting a side glance to Hades getting mad. "Ooo..now you choose..deal with him..or us..but either way..your not leaving here alive." Slowly he closed in on War. His own eyes narrowed down now. It was time for the God of War..to get down to busniess and to the dirty work his own self this time.

She paused before Anduin's form, the body once possessed by Death, and she tentatively grew closer. She peered at the wrists that had been severed and bloodied, and quickly drew an arrow and spliced it; one side for each wrist. From the point of contact came cool, soothing feelings for the wrist, alleviating the pain and suturing the wounds.
Once finished with that, the goddess stood terse, her body rigid as she defiantly stood over the body. An arrow was drawn tightly into the bow and aimed at any foe who would dare attack the mortal. Meanwhile, she kept Apollo out of her peripheral vision. She knew he could tend to himself, but she was always still concerned for her brother.

No, actually, she had a plan.
Not that hot headed Ares was all that accustomed to planning ahead. Perhaps that was why the Goddess of Wisdom had had to pick up a bit of warfare as well.
Really, when you want something done right, you can't send a blundering male in to do it! You needed a woman to temper the situation, add a little balance and thought to the ordeal.
Moving her spear behind her back, it would disappear for a moment and, shortly, be replaced by a sword.
She had her reasons. She was, after all, the strategic minded side of this violent little coin. Though, all said and done, Athena would have preferred if it hadn't come to all this. The horsemen simply weren't willing to listen to good, solid wisdom.
A pity, really.
Actually, Ares, bright eyes looking past War's shoulder and to Ares' face. She didn't really bother much with the personification of War. He was sandwiched in between the two deities that his power derived from, after all. Unless, of course, the pair got distracted with bickering between one another... I was thinking something a little less... messy. You can batter someone else later, can't you? There were, after all, mortals about. It wasn't like Ares had ever been picky about who he abused in the past. Always rushing off to battle at the slightest thing. It was distasteful, really.
