The images were amazing, the quality perfect, and not once did she notice the demon around her. She smiled brightly, her eyes flaring with surrounds. Oh the beauty of it all, it was perfection in its own form.
It wasn't till Ashram spoke to himself did she snap from her thoughts and looked in his direction. " Picture? Me?" Her brow arched before she sensed something was amiss, her coming to turn quickly, her givnig a surprised scream, it laced with inches of fear. Her feet stumbled her back, till she fell again, her landing near Ashram's feet, but then her eyes got wide again at the sight of the dragon she hadn't seem to notice.
Pushing her own hand up and over her mouth she stared up at the large towering ancient. Once her breathing had hushed its horrified stance, she lowered her hand, it coming to touch the scaled flesh of the dragons snout. Hesitance surged throgh her veins, but wonder allowed her to touch him. Besides Seragato she had never seen such a beast, and nothing of this size and age.
But her attention didn't stay on him long, for the jade hues that matched her own stared towards herself and Ashram, the beaming of evil flashed through the blade he held. Why did he want to kill Ashram so badly? She had no clue, but now wasn't the time to ask such silly questions.
The doors, the images, even the stained glass roofing had to wait till another time; for an enemy stood before them. Standing in front of Ashram, she peeked back at him momentarily, before her right hand slid out. Palm once facing towards the ground soon came to face the ceiling of these mysterious chambers, and before Ashrams eyes a lacing of ruins came to cross over his wife's body. Weaving their way down her arm they met in the center of her palm in a horizontal line which soon opened like a third eye.
It was in a blink of an eye before a flame was produced in her touch, centering on her ruin eyed palm. It was an odd color, a deep white with asilver flames. "Demon, I advise you to go back to where you belong, before you meet the feeling of the Light." As her words passed her lips, the flame spread throughout her body, it engulfing her, lining her form in some sort of shield, and yet she still held that ball... Her voice was louder, more dominating as if it weren't his wife at all, but another speaking through her.

He reeled back a few steps from her feeling the energy she had just called upon or had just summoned forth. He had been blasted by similar energy, but what he saw and felt was even enough to put a little fear in him. He would hate to be on the receiving end of whatever she planned on blasting the picture of the demon with.
Regaining composure he smirked watching her. “My love.. That is only a mere portrait. There is nothing to fight here. That image in the stain glass shows exactally what I saw when I allowed myself to get pulled into the Shadow Realms the first time. It wasn't more than a second after I got spilled out of a portal that that creature attacked. As you can see we both wield the same sword. I suppose you could say that the demon is the darker side of me.” He gave his brief explanation of the picture of the demon with glowing eyes. There was a lot more he could have shared with her but he wasn't one to get into details without being asked the proper questions.
Eyes drifted to the sleeping dragon who he felt stir from feeling her energy as well. Somehow he didn't feel threatened enough by it to wake up and investigate. It was best Narse keep to his sleep for he wasn't needed yet and possibly wouldn't be needed. He was just glad to know he could call upon the slumbering beast if he should need to.
Looking to his wife once more he looked to see if she was still in attack and kill mode... she probably wasn't in such a mode but he was imagining what could have possibly happened if there had been a demon there. He really didn't like the thought of fighting her in a death match.. that also crossed his mind. Though it would never happen it still was something he would pass up. He had never encountered a Paladin such as her and he madee note not to mess with one.. at least until he got rid of the demon's hold on his soul.

Once it was seen that it was a picture she felt foolish, her closing her fingers and allowing all to disperse, even the runes that covered her.
Now she felt stupid, like a puppet having her strings pulled. She placed her hands behind her back and grinned innocently. Wow, she made a fool out of herself. "Ummm... sorry about that." She exhaled, her moving towards the walls, her fingers glowing still and highlighting the images so she may see them better.
"Seems this is your memory?" She peeked back at him, her trying to blow the whole attacking a picture behind them. "And who is..." Her hand motioned towards the dragon her fingers coming to skim over the scales.
After he would answer she would give a nod, and then motion towards the rest of the place. "How was this made? Who made it? And what does everything mean?" She was about to ask more before she saw a carving of a woman. "And who is that?" ::her hands went to her hips. She sure got jealous when there were other women in Ashram's life. And oh she hoped he wouldn't say Temptest, she could stand that woman, but that was her own personal affairs.
((OOC: Sorry it is short but I couldn't think of anything...probally from the hangover))

( Brian says stop being an alcoholic. There is nothing wrong with short posts. There is however a problem when you blame it on a hangover.. ::Is reminded of bootcamp by speaking in third person.:: Now it is time for Brian to post. ::Gives Marlene a hug to show her he isn't mad.:: )
It was quite the feat for him to catch her doing something in which she felt stupid doing. Inside he was laughing, on the outside he kept his regular facial expressions. He answered her question of who the dragon was with a concise responce. A story wasn't all that necessary.
Eyes followed her closely as she moved to the walls and looked around. 'Despite all her questions and all the other figures she just had to ask one about that particular woman carved in the white marble,' this thought passed through his mind when she asked her last question. "You have seen her before," speaking loud enough to where she could barely hear him.
He didn't bother saying anything else of the figures carved in the arches to explain why an image of Tempest was carved there. His only thought was, 'If she wants to get stupid over a carving then by all means I'll let her'.. That particular figure she asked about was indeed Tempest.
He turned his attention to the ceiling not paying attention to her incase she did decide to be foolish about the carving. Quietly he sighed seeing a few images that he remembered only up to a certain point. Whatever happened after those events he had no knowledge of. He did know he should have died those times. As he continued to look on he wondered why this place even exists here in the Shadow Realms. "I understand now," he spoke to himself out loud. It was quite clear where they were now and it could be said they were at the epicenter of the Shadow Realms. As for who created it there was no for sure answer, it could well be no one and it was made subconsciously from his vivid thoughts and memories.
For the short time he was looking around and thinking what the place may be he had blocked out his wife.. At first intentional but he just got lost in the visuals above him and the memories that came with them. With him having spoken aloud he snapped back to reality and looked at his wife. "The arches... The people carved into them are people for some reason or another I will never forget or recently have made enough of an impression to be here and it hasn't been long enough for them to slip from my memory." He started pointing to familiar faces she would recognize such as Cae, Maggie, J, Riley, River, Kia, Trent, Mika, Syn, Ryu, 'The Boy King', and many others that had were associated with GoldenMyst. He didn't bother pointing out the countless others she had never seen, most from his past.
"Now make your jealous thoughts nonexistant." He couldn't quite read minds but could read people well enough to just about know what was going through their mind. Of course most of the time he played dumb.. like most of the times his wife had hinted on things. It wasn't anything of interest to him at the time and being a man sculpted by war he was only about fighting and such. Once things are done with the demon he will be free to spend some quality time doing his wife.

Destiny stared at the drawings, but soon shrugged, her moving towards Ashram. Smiling she took him in her grasp and kissed his chin. "Well, whoever did this... they did a wonderful job. It is beautiful here." It was just then when she looked up at the stained glass window that passed the suns gleam through it did she look for herself somewhere in there. She had seen many people in his life on these walls, and stories he had left untold to her here, but she would soon figure out the riddle of his life.
With a gleam she moved to the door, her selnder digits curling around the large ring that was used for a handle. "I wonder-" she gave a tud, it not budging an inch. "umm love, could you help me out a bit?" She looked over her sholder, giving a curious yet innocent plea towards him. Yes, his wife sure was one that had may questions to ask. Always wanting the knowledge.
Seeing him not moving a bit, she snickered to herself and looked back to the door, her noticing the writing for the first time. Pulling her hands from the ring, she let her fingers graze over the writing. Thinned black brows rose at the encription left behind her not knowing the language or anything close to it.
Her gaze the color of the night ocean flew back towards him and finally back to the writing, her left in her own wonder what it meant, but then again she wasn't about to ask. She figured he was tried of hearing his wife ask so many damn questions.

While he watched her attempt to pull open the door he gave a slight smile shaking his head. He didn't mind questions, there were certain ones that he didn't want to answer. Since she wasn't asking anything he went ahead to explain a little anyways. "No, Love... That door isn't intended to be open. If you could read it, it says 'Door sealed. Nightmare contained.' There are other doors like this one. They kept the demon from having a way to unleash constant hell on my mind. I learned these doors can be opened without my will by large amounts of holy energy." He didn't go into why or how holy energy could open those specific doors. He just knew the times he had been blasted with such energies the doors had been opened and he lost control of himself and the demon for a time.
He walked over to her looking at the doors in the vicinity reading the text on them. "Most lead to memories of my past. From what I see two doors even go back as far as when I was a kid. One of the Wars is over here." He stopped reading the doors and walked over to a set of doors to get a better look. "This isn't right.. Why would this door be kept with these horrible memories.." To his knowledge up until he saw this specific door he had thought this section was full of the bad memories. He was wrong about the doors being organized. He didn't realize that most of his memories consisted of bad ones until now. He glanced back over to her knowing that she has to be wondering what was going on.. especially since once again he was talking to himself. Talking to himself was normal.. to the guy who has spent a good amount of time, even while married, alone.
"This door is the memory of the day I married you.. I just didn't expect it to be between these two doors or anywhere near them." He turned around and looked across the place at the other small appearing doors. One stood out to him and that is when something became known to him.
Time in the Shadow Realms passed by much faster as compared to the realms of Goldenmyst. Of all the time in the Shadow Realm it wasn't until now he picked up a certain presence. Only about an hour had passed in the realms of GM when several days had came and gone where they were. It had to have been the demon who kept him unaware of the presence until now when Ash figured out the means of ridding himself of the demon. A perfect diversion it was. Despite attempts of putting it off he couldn't. The presence he felt wasn't something he could put aside. "Lets go through that door over there.. It'll take us where we really need to be." As in 'we' he meant 'I'. He wasn't to leave her alone in the Realms.
He ran the long distance to the door. Considering he left her in the dark about what was going on he was sure she wouldn't be far behind him. A hand reached out gripping the ring. He pulled on the ring and the door and it swung wide open. Giving a glance back at his wife he motioned her to follow him through the door that would lead them to Goldenmyst.
( Now to Alan's Thread... )
