Cuddled into her cozy chair, Maggie took a well deserved break from training. She was simply mommy now, watching the house full of children. Her's and Kia's. It was happy to have everyone together. Patting Nera's baby filly tummy when she walked by, Maggie was truly content. This was a place of strangely colored hair, dragons, panthers, and elves. This life seemed so far removed from the castle. It was a whole other world. Her mind wandered to Aiden. She worried for him, but knew he was protected. She missed him, and wondered if he missed her. Dragoon came in with cookies and milk for the kids, and Maggie snatched one for herself.
Leaving the children with Dragoon, she went to her room to change before heading to the castle. She stood in front of the mirror, admiring her sisters new artwork, the swirling panther/dragon coming out of her belly button. Meeting her eyes in the mirror she traced the fading paw print, wondering what it meant. When Cyan's mark faded it meant he was dead. She was worried.
It was then that Kerean came in with the scroll. Signed by Nicho, stamped by Gelina. Very official. Perched on the edge of the bed she read it. Tears slid down her cheeks. The banishment official. So many others to. She pondered to herself by what law they had been banished. She hadn't remembered that being part of the agreement. Sighing, she stood, and put on something appropriate.
She did not fully understand what had happened to her during the rebellion. She suspected through her druidic practices she had become bound to the land somehow.
