(( Ok another OOC update. The adventure has been pushed back to wednesday 11/2(tomorrow) At 9-9:30pm EST. Hope you all can make it, we'll start no later then 10 if we must hold for anyone. SO BE READY!! ))

J2644433: ::He would give a slight smile:: Well we need to find the rest of the trigger divices. I've gone over some of the things that Tempest and Summer brought back and made some special things for them that should help. So I dont think we'll need anything much....however...things may have become more complicated with our jaunt this eve.
Nicho TGM: ::raises a brow as he takes another sip of he klah::
J2644433: ::At that he would step over near the bar, over towards the stool where he normally sits....motioning to the wall slightly his fingers would curl in the air and pull back the very 'skin' of the realm for a second. A very roughly made rift that had been left by someone other then them.:: I found it when I came back late last eve after you'd gone to bed.....
Nicho TGM: ::shakes his head:: Not good.
J2644433: Someone has followed us back. ::At that he would smooth over the rift with his fingers giveing a slight glow for a moment:: I've sealed up all of them now....whoever followed us is very good at what they do though, I cant sense them at all.
Nicho TGM: ::nods, walking over and refilling his mug:: Have any idea who it might be? One of ye kin perhaps?
J2644433: ::Closeing his eyes for a moment he'd pause.:: If it were one of me I could sense them without doubt...just as I sense Demous and my other brothers. I fear it may be someone almost as dangerous as Demous though. I've not seen rifts from travel made this roughly in some time....Whoever they are they obviously dont care about the damage they're causeing on either side of the worlds.
Nicho TGM: Great, I shall have to craft a second non-energy bubble, just in case.

Nicho TGM: ::pulls out a glowing orb that Dani had given him, currently it is the size of a marble::
J2644433: ::He would raise his hand to his chin and just watch the boy king as he mantains the curious look upon his face.::
Nicho TGM: This orb multiplies my powers by (1d10) magical means.... using this I have created an extra dimensional bubble, a separate universe, if ye will, about the same size as a sparring ring.
J2644433: ::He would nod and smile:: Very clever.
Nicho TGM: In this alter dimension, no external energy sources may be drawn upon. Whild I am cut off from my goddess and the castle... so he will be cut off from the source. Any energy attacks will draw directly upon his life force.
J2644433: ::A nod and he'd smirk:: Well then this should serve well if we happen to encounter Demous. But I'm not sure that this other being will be effected....we must remember that not all of those from my world are the same as myself and my brothers.
Nicho TGM: ::smiles grimly:: I have learned a few things from our spars. ::then nods:: Yet it would not hurt to have another handy, just in case.

Nicho TGM: ::upon reflection, the boy decides to add a rider spell on each of the bubbles, when and if he himself enters, he will enter fully healed::
J2644433: Perhaps I should retrieve some syrum from the power stream though...it may help us if we're caught off gaurd....
Nicho TGM: ::nods:: And perhaps a fluff of life from the life stream.
J2644433: ::Nods:: We would have to becareful useing such items though.
Nicho TGM: ::chuckles:: Indeed, especially in the energy realm.
J2644433: ::A stern look towards Nicho:: Everything has it's price, if we forget that we could be in serious danger.

(( Sorry about the mix up there......I accidently altered the date on my stupid watch when I was trying to set the time cause of the fact we gained an hour the other day......x.x so yea I'm running a few days ahead of you guys now LOL ))

So, are you going to post the conclusion? Or will that recieve its own thread?
Or, as it is entirely possible given that I had to leave early, did the story not actualy conclude yet?

The adventure started with a party consisting of James, Trist, Veedo, Arathorn, Simms, Staver, Desari, Nicho, and Kolava, set off for a mission where James lead them on to his home. Once there they entered an area with several strange things around them. Soon after this Nicho was sent to find some research items on an artifact that James had given him a while ago. While Nicho looked for this the others found themselves searching through the rubble. Though soon after finding most of what they'd come for they were promptly attacked by several Century Gaurds. After a bit of a grueling fight with these mechanical gaurds the party found Nicho again and somehow he had been joined by a woman who identified herself as Brandi, a friend of Nicho. James then leading what was left of the party into a secret lab under the building where they'd found 6 trigger devices and a couple of books that Nicho had located for research. Shortly after finding two cases that James had also come after, they were attacked by a being identified as Cyrix, but not before Demous appeared to those that remained, (several people haveing been thrown back through dimentional rifts, or having left by their own free will). Speaking bluntly he flashed a picture of Queen Rayna at Nicho and demanded to know who she was. Nicho promptly responded by useing a special orb that trapped himself and Demous in a special arena, causing Demous to fight with a mortal strength. To the death! Nicho in the end was victorious though Demous' body was taken into the shadows shortly after his death. One can only wonder if he'll be back after this defeat.
