It's becoming less and less likely that anyone will ever read this in its entirety (unless, perhaps, I release an audio cassete version)
Given this fact, and the related fact that, due to its size, I cant post it convieniantly on the boards, I think I'm going to place the final copy on Kolava's website (which is under construction)

I've reached the line of literary productivity that only proffessional novelists were meant to cross. So, to bring an end to this nonsense, I'm going to scrap the project once and for all. Does this mean I'm going to delete everything I've written? No, of course not, I've worked too hard on it. I'm simply going to push it asside and stop working on it; it will serve as a reference for myself, and as proof in case I ever forget just how much I can write once I get going. On a brighter note, I'm going to be starting over.  Don't worry, things will be different this time. Instead of attempting to grasp every facet of the plot with one omniscient narrator...I'm going to narrow it down and greatly condense it so that it resembles Nicho's history. No more scenes, no more deviations, no more page-long ramblings about the setting, just Kolava's history. I was reluctant to cram something so massive into such a narrow project, but then I realised something. I don't have to answer every single question the reader might have about Kolava. Instead, I should be writing something that lays down a few basics while leaving the rest to the imagination. Three of you recieved copies of the 65 page project, but that's okay, this new project will be the same story but with a different scope. |
