That too.
Ok, I'll tell the story now that I'm calmer.
So, if you do or do not know, I have been stage managing a play called "The Barrow" - a horror/suspense play. Meanwhile, there has been another play called "The Supers" - a comedy. Anyway, when you pay $3, you see both of them at my school, because they're put on by the same people.
So, my ex came to our opening night, sat there with the PRESIDENT OF MY DRAMA CLUB, and laughed and made inappropriate commentary during my entire play. And you ask why the president came and did it too? Because she was directing "The Supers" and people were saying that mine, "The Barrow", was better. So, out of jealousy, she sat out there and made fun of my play to make it look bad.
Later, both of them came to my cast and apologized, and I bitched both of them out. I told my ex that if he enjoyed my show so much (as he claimed), then did he even congratulate my cast? I then asked my cast to raise their hands if he congratulated them - and two people out of ten did. I then turned on him and told him I would not let him sit here and blatantly lie to my cast when he felt absolutely no remorse at all. He apologized again, and I cut him off and asked "Are you going to watch the show again tonight? I mean, actually WATCH IT. Otherwise, I think you should just leave." And he nodded sullenly and said he was going to watch it.
My director and I refused the apologies because they were bullshit (my ex claimed he did it because he "gets scared real easily" and he had to make jokes as a "defense mechanism". Julie, the President, didn't have any excuse at all).
It just pisses me off that my ex would try to get back at me through all of my goddamn hard work, and end up hurting the girls who worked even harder than I did.
And don't get me started on Julie. I have no desire to even speak with her at the moment. How can a president of the drama club come and act like such an asshole at someone else's show because it's doing WELL?
God.
If he comes to the show tonight, I'm not putting up with it. I'm going to make him leave. He's come every night and every time he's there he just causes problems.
And Julie I'll have to deal with because she's directing "The Supers". However, she already knows I'm pissed, so she's staying out of my way (both she and my ex did not come to the cast party last night because they knew I would have killed them both).
Why is it that I have to deal with all of the immature asses around here?
