Rocking your baby cousin to sleep while the 4 year old comes up with play dough in hand and asks you to play with him. Being able to hold your 13 year old cousin while she cries because she misses our grandmother. Teaching a child how to properly play hide and seek. I love being surrounded with children, and I tend to be at family functions or church functions. Ever wonder where Nym gets it from?  |

Oh! Annnnd... singing "Arise my Love" at the top of your lungs, watching the sunrise while you sit in chairs outside at a ridiculously early time of day while the preacher talks about how beloved you are of God. Knowing that Easter is more than a rabbit coming around and hiding eggs in my life. I love Christmas, of course, but Easter is probably my favorite. Christmas celebrates the birth, but Easter? Riding down country roads with my brother speeding with the t-tops off and knowing that when he wrecks and kills me, I'll just celebrate Easter for eternity! Being thankful to be alive after realizing that the seatbelt was the ONLY thing keeping me from slipping right out of the car in some of those turns! But, all in all, remembering the gorgeous day and how good the wind felt on my face as he sped through the back roads and towards loved ones at all times, far more than i remembered gripping the arm rest and whimpering!
I love being happy.
