Ok this a picture of me at work. I am so ready to quit this job. Not because I hate it but I am so sick and tired of the mood swings of the vet I work for and the stupid political crap that goes on. However I love working with the dogs. In this pic I am holding Domino. An old blind mini poodle. He had messed up his cage and got poo on his fur, so he got a bath and then went into the groom dryer. They are special dryers for animals after being bathed. Anyway when I took him out, he laid on my shoulder just needing love. In this instant my job was worth all the crap. Here is a living, breathing animal who trusted me. No questions asked. Nothing wanted in return. No conditions. It is humbling. In this instant I felt like someone.
