In the hopes of getting rid of the tons of IMs I am getting from folks, I want to verify and clarify a few things.
1. To those of you who have actually interacted with my character, and who give a rats bum about whats going on....thank you for caring.
2. To those who are simply curious. I owe you nothing, but I will say my peace here.
YES, I am leaving AOL. Its not something I can control, but its happening. NO, I am not a child being punished by my parents. I am involved in litigation with AOL and using their service is detrimental to my case. Its something I can not control.
I WILL have AIM, and will be roleplaying on AIM.
I will be signing on to this screen name to transfer links and what not, as well as talk to a few people that I am working with to create an AIM guild.
So please refrain from IMing me to say that "I thought you were dead." Please, if you didn't have time to get to know my character and play with me before spare me your commentary.
Anyone who knows me at all (and there are several) knows that I do not do drama for the sake of drama. When I pull a character away, its for damned good reason. I don't kill my characters on a whim. Sil is the first one I have ever killed off.
My four year anniversay with KoGM is coming up. Maggie was a steadfast fixture for a great deal of that time, and even though I don't play her in the kingdom on any sort of a consistant basis, there are bits of her there. The kingdom Nursery was primarily started or maintained by Maggie, and if you have ever eaten a honeycake, or been in the healers hall you will again see a touch of her. Those were things Maggie added. Maggie was once a kingdom adviser, she was a DC. Drama got to me, and my real life became more important than my roleplay so little by little she faded away. I still play her. Thank gods Kyos mun is understanding of my schedule, and when we can't play we talk. I am also lucky enough to share my life with a fellow gamer.
I could not leave Sil dangling. Since I was told that its not possible to play a queen on AIM, nor was there any real reason that Nicho would have broken up with her, I was relieved when the opportunity came up that I could give her a dignified end. It is an end that leaves no hope of returning. No chance of being rezzed. There are no loose ends. Her spirit is with her uncle, her baby brother, her cousin, her grandmother, and her goddess.
Sil and Nicho had real chemistry. I think a lot of it is because Kyle and I are friends outside of RP. We play well off each other. The same is true of Kia and Sil. They were so much fun together. Again that goes to a real friendship.
This end allows Nicho to move on. It allows for real growth between any potential queen and him...with out worry that "his great love" will return.
So if you were part of the rumor mill that hit me a few nights ago, and you presume that you had anything to do with my killing Sil off....you give yourself too much credit. You may have done Kyle and I a favor and forced us to speed up the inevitable....but thats it.
