The boards have suddenly decided I no longer deserve an avatar. Does anyone else experience this problem, and if so, do you have any advice?

Mine still works. Maybe the url you use is bad? Is it on your own server? (ex. AOL's free member space)

It is hosted on Angelfire, which is notorius for its incompotence in all facets of website hosting. The odd thing is, I cannot get any avatar to work with any URL, even random ones from elsewhere on the internet.

Nevermind. As with many Angelfire problems, it has departed as mysteriously as it had first appeared.

How do you get your own avatar to work? Is it just finding a pic that you like and linking it? ::ish just not sure about these avatar thingys::

It is best to load your own picture up on your own server though. Like AOL, AngelFire or even your own private server if you have one. If you just link to any picture you find on the net, not only are you liable to loose it, but you are slowing down the bandwidth of that site.
