You guys want to know something funny. I never played d&d. I never really got into roleplaying till i stumbled into a roleplay chat room last year. The only reason i ever came online was either for school or to play online games

Wait, Trist, you weren't one of those people who come stumbling into Goldenmyst, hemorrhaging to an insane amount, near the brink of death, and seeking tending to.. were you?

Bitter? Yeah, I spent some time helping a friend write that piece about a year ago, he finally sent it out and it circulated its way back to me. I was 10 when I started rping, I have been doing so for nearly 12 years, mostly with the same Charrie. I have seen the ups and downs of Rhydin, both now and then.
I will stick to my opinion that Rhydin was better then. With the exception of (As Nicho put it) the 800 dollar bill, my ass was kicked when my pops saw that.
In the end I wouldn't trade these times for those. The reason for this is Golden Myst. In GM rests a piece of old Rhydin, a piece which even then was hard to find. Originality, characters that have been devolped solely through hard work and the imagination of the mun. A variety of SL's, which although I do not always spend the time to find out about, I find absolutely intriquing.
A kinship that was hard to find even then exists here, though this kinship is not seen often. Some would say that this was broken over the last few days from the actions of myself and others, I disagree.
Regardless of where people stand most were forced to take a stance and stop grumbling. Direct action was forced upon some of you and many are p***ed. In reality this is what it takes to solidify friendship, clear the air so to speak.
I have a fondness for old Rhydin, that is were my characters were born. That is were I learned to role play and that is were I met alot of the IRL people I call friend today.

::Pets Jalen::
The strange thing is that Maggie was once MVP. Now hardly no one know her or respects her. Is that their fault or mine?
Mine. I have missed large chunks of RP. Due to illness, and life in general. Like I said somewhere. My family comes first. My kids will be RP on here when they get old enough. Wouldn't it be cool if they could play in GM? I think so. They ask me how Maggie is doing. Is she still making honeycakes. Is the little boy a king now. Cool huh? Some might think its sad, but the same discussions go on about my fiance's table top characters. We share our gaming.

Ooh, Maggie, I feel you, I feel you. I've had a lot of little conversations about my roleplaying scenarios, some of them are just so bizarre I have to tell someone, you know? But beside the roleplaying fact, it's the muns that I talk about too. It makes things entertaining!
