-OOCness- I was in a bit of a rut a day or two ago, and some of you, mostly Shari, had an idea of what I was going through. So here is a poem dedicated to that little moment. It's very freelance mind you and dedicated to my mom and dad. I love you both more than you know.
I'm crying because of what I've done
Both internally and externally
I never mean to, but it always seems to happen
You know, hurting you emotionally
I had a bad day, so we went shopping
And you bought me the prettiest sandals
White with silvery sequins on them
And then you bought me a square holder
For an art project that we are doing in school
And that I promised to give to your for your
Garden outside where all the damned rabbits come
I'm grouting it right now, getting it all ready
For it to come home to you and your garden
It'll make it even prettier with it's whiteness
With blue, yellow, orange, and green beading
It'll match all the colors around you when you
Tend to that patch of heaven outside our door
As to the only one true man in my life
I know there is a somewhat silence between us
But I do love you so, so, SOOOO much
For being able to put up with me and mom
And all that goes on around you with work
My depression and anxiety and Gramps' dying
I have a present for you at school
That is going to be on display soon
You'll be so proud when you see it that I
Want to jump out and tell you now what it is
But I can't because it's a secret
Mom knows, but you won't get it out of her either
You know what? I made them thinking about you
And about your love for the freedom these
Animals seem to bring for they are all over
Your special room, in the air, on the walls, everywhere
When it comes home, you'll be so proud
That I'll get the pleasure of seeing you smile
Then a great big hug and a thank you that
Means so much to me, more so than you know
This poem is dedicated to you both from me
Your daughter, who is just different from
Most of the populace of the this world
I'm glad that you both love me because
I sure as hell love you both
I'm crying because of what I've done
Both internally and externally
I never mean to, but it always seems to happen
