This is the first song I had ever written. I wrote it when i was 16 years old. Its about this time my old band and I tried to run away by catchign a ride on a Greyhound bus.
Expectations
I want out, dont want to be Everything you want me to be A poster child just outside Left alone with nothing to hide i took a greyhound bus packed my gear grabbed the band were out of here i got a one way ticket to be free your better off then stuck with me I want out
One room apartment all crammed in theres nothign to eat were all getting thin got no car no ceiling fan its getting hot we dont blend in
And from all the i can see the expectatiosn waiting for me why i sweat and why i bleed my life is a conspiracy and i cant help but wonder where you rest and why i smoke cigarettes what to expect are we gonna be the best i want out
So here we stand on the stage all hyped up and full of rage to this small town that you called home a hell to us pain we condone
and i cant help but wonder where you rest and why i smoke cigarettes what to expect are we gonna be the best I want
I want out, I want out, I want out cant you see I want I want out, I want out, I want out cant you see I want out
