::looks over at Kolava and Cherise:: ok ok so maybe not the best poem in the world according to you guys but I have to agree with Maggie and Gelina muns. It is what you write for your self. None of my stuff would ever make sense to you guys but it does to me. Good job and post more.

Y'see, you unearthed an older poem. And at the time, many people were criticizing poetry for fun. Believe me, I understand. I draw what I feel. Sometimes, it doesn't make sense, but it does to me. However, I remember Kolava made a post a while back on these boards, and it was something about how your poetry and work grows and flourishes from constructive criticism. Hence why people began to give their genuine opinions on poems, or if they did not like the poetry, they gave an honest reason to why, whether it be the mood, the rhythm, the rhyme scheme, etc. etc. We stopped criticizing the poetry for a while, and took a break when a lot of drama broke forth in GM.
It's kind of like that quote, "If you can't stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen."
Don't think we were bashing the authors for their poetry, we were giving our opinions and attempting to help the author improve their writing style.
