Bodies...the battleground was strewn with bodies. Angels, dragons, soldiers and mages. There were even the bodies of the damned, those tortured wretches forced to serve the Abyssal Lord Anto in his mad schemes to annihilate Golden Horn and her allies...
The lone knight picked his way through the field of the fallen, sorrow filling him for those who died before their time. As he did this, though, he stopped suddenly, catching a glimpse of a robed form. The air around him became colder as, before his eyes, small gleaming orbs of light appeared from those bodies...
" Feed on them..."
The voice entered his mind, a dark presence, one he had known once before. He took a step back, shaking his head as he spoke, " You are gone, sent to the dark depths of the Netherworld. You have no place here!"
"Ah but I do..so much death, so many souls...now feed, and strengthen that piece of me which still resides within your soul...."
"Never! Never again will I do the kind of things which you did with my body!"
With those words, Anduin ran from the field, heading back to the place which he felt safe....

Darkness...such was that which haunted Anduin's dreams of late, the knight awakening in his bed once more, body covered in a cold sweat. Widened eyes gaze around his chambers, as though expecting to see that which haunts his dreams of late. More of his hair has gone white, though still not enough to draw attention.
As he looked around his quarters, a cold, malice-filled laugh was heard, coming from everywhere, yet nowhere. The laugh was short, and soon faded away, though it left the knight sitting up in bed, filled with a fear that he only felt once before...

It was a week after the last episode, the knight passed out on the couch from lack of sleep. As he lay there, eyes closed, body slack. As Anduin lay there, he dreamed a similar dream, one that kept him up many a night.
He walked alone in a shadowed land, similar to GoldenMyst, though all was dark and distorted, as though a mockery to all the life and good within the kingdom. As he walked along, he came upon a lake, its waters black and oily, bubbling and groaning, as though a living thing.
As he stopped by the edge of the lake, a figure slowly lifted from the depths of the oily bog, the viscous fluids dripping off her tattered dress. Before the knight's horror-filled eyes, the figure was finally revealed, his first wife hovering before him, on her face an expression of malice as she spoke, " Husband, you left me to die alone! You forced me to take mine own life, rather than be forced into a life of slavery!"
Anduin stayed silent as she spoke to him, unable to respond to her vicious words, knowing this was not the woman he married. After a moment more, the woman began to change, darkness enveloping her form, her soft chuckle becoming more masculine, more menacing as Death soon appeared where Jasmine had stood just moments before.
The chuckle subsided as flames burned within the ebon orbs which Death used as eyes, the pale lips moving as he spoke, " Do not think you can resist me forever, Anduin. I grow stronger each day, for each time you kill, each time someone dies around you, I feed off of the energy, and my powers grow. As my powers grow, so does my control over you..."
Anduin grit his teeth as orange flames formed around his hands, anger evident on his features as he spoke, " I do not care if I have to die to thwart you, Death, but you will not use me again. Many friends I have, and they are powerful. Do not think we will not be able to defeat you. "
The malevolent presence chuckled once more before speaking, " But why would they help you, if you are the one holding the sword to their throat? Why would they help you if you...shall we say, take that, which is most precious to them..."
At that point, the shadowy world disappeared, and the knight sat up on the couch, an expression of concern on his face as he looked around, then spoke, " I must stop it..."

Anduin sat in the main hall of the castle, drinking a mug of ale at the bar. The last week had been a quiet week, specifically when it came to Death. There had been no dreams, no voices on the wind, not even the chill touch of the shadows that accompanied Death's attempts to take him over.
While normally this would be a sign of good news, the knight was worried, wondering if the essence of Death was planning something plotting from within the depths of his soul.
(people can feel free to join in from this point.)

It was a beautiful morning in GoldenMyst, the golden rays seeming to pour through the window, the soft song of the birds were delightful to ones ears, and Angel was getting herself dressed and ready to take a stroll on the lovely day.
Getting into her usual black dress, the one that probably showed too much but was most comfortable to the dragoness, she took hold of her young 8 month old daughter Kiara, and took the hand of her little Ashram. Deciding it would be a good morning to stroll about the gardens and let her children play. Sapphire blues shifting down to Ashram, wanting him to play as much as he could since she was sure she would have to part with him soon enough.
Placing Kiara against her hips as she held her protectively she would make her way down towards the mainhall, stopping as she felt a familiar presence, looking around she couldn't help but smile to who she saw.
"Good day Anduin, I was about to take the little ones to the garden, do ye wish ta come?"
Wondering if he was asleep or not, but she would stand waiting for an answer, taking her hand away from Ashram as she would place it into Kiara, as it seemed Kiara thought mommys dress would be fun to pull and tug at.

The knight had been sleeping wearily on the couch, his dark dreams keeping him from getting much sleep. But the familiar voice that spoke his name woke him from his dreams, a smile forming on the knight's face as he opened his eyes, and saw Angel, with her children on either side. Anduin slowly sat up as he spoke, muscles in his arms tightening as he sat up on the couch, " Well good day Angel...and yes, I think a walk in the gardens would be nice..."

If she had noticed that he had been sleeping she would of left him alone, giving a light frown she would soon shake the feeling off. Letting a bright smile touch her lips.
"Would ye like ta carry one of the little ones?"
Glancing down towards Ashram as she wasn't sure how he would react to being picked up by a strange man, she twirled her son with a cool, comforting feeling to let him know that Anduin was a friend.
Shifting Kiara from her left hip to her right, her left hand moving up to slide lightly against her daughters jawline, glancing down to her as she couldn't help but smile. Today she dressed her daughter in a pink dress, cute pink slippers to match, Angel knew that the covering to her feet would be kicked off sooner or later so she had grabbed something comfortable.
Taking in a soft breath she leaned down to press her lips against her daughters forehead, eyes shifting back to look at her dear friend. Waiting for him to move as he had taken her up on the trip to the gardens.
