She was sitting at the desk in the library going over one of the healing logs that had been sent to her. She was working on her report for Nicho. She was a little concerned that the division was not as active as it could be. That was why she had the Healer’s Ball to welcome the summer to the realm. It had been a success, at least that is what others had told her. She had even gotten one dance. She tried to be in the castle at all times but it was a little difficult. She had four children and her own estates to run.
However with the children at Tara for the summer, she had moved back to GoldenMyst, only going home once a month to check on things at RavensWood. It had given her the time to do work in the library. Her favorite place in the whole castle. She had organized all the maps, cleaned and cataloged all the books and cleaned the entire room. There were now fresh flowers on every space available and the windows were open, emitting a soft breeze.
She had also taken care of the Healer’s Hall. Every day she made sure all the beds had clean linen; there were fresh towels and pitchers of fresh water. Herbs were stocked everyday as well as making sure there was enough healing salve on hand.
She may not always be the most social creature within the castle but behind the scenes her work was never done.
