The Groves Mage: Marie had escaped away from the towers and castle to her
own home tower. The deep breath was taken within the upper most floor. There
were benefits to being a mage as the room itself was created from sheets of
crystaline quartz.
The Groves Mage: It gave the veiw of the lands , her lands , the village
looked quaint with the first dusting of snow and the wafts of smoke rising
from the chimneys of the houses below. She had been contemplating upon the
triplets first.. theirs
The Groves Mage: would be the more difficult. With the combination of the
blood they would be born with there was not much she could offer them. If
they carried the strength and magic of the dragons... or the nocturnal
instincts of the lycan..
The Groves Mage: both would be a deadly combination. She wished something
that would aid them through out their lives as she paced slowly within that
circular room. The robes and modest attire was set aside as she wore the
light silk gown of royal
The Groves Mage: blue. The irrated kick was given as she punted the cushion
across the floor then looked directly upward. The sky was still covered with
the heavy gray clouds , yet there was something..different.. a swirl within
them as she could
The Groves Mage: pick out symbols within them. The light chuckle was given
as she ducked her head and offered her palms upward in way of thanks to the
Goddess for inspiriation. First and foremost would be the amulet, which
would mean she needed t
The Groves Mage: to go down to her work room. The tiny mage slipped off
down the stairs to the next floor and pressed the door open. The orbs within
instantly awakened at her presence , illuminating the room within. Tables
and shelves all neatly
The Groves Mage: prepared as she walked slowly to the small cabinet upon the
wall. The light brush of her fingers while she thought over which she would
need and withdrew the smal wax block. There were other instruments taken as
well as she walked
The Groves Mage: over to begin the carving of what the amulet would look
like once the gold was poured. Obviously the use of silver was push aside
for obvious reasons.
The Groves Mage: The little mage continued to work at the intricate knots
and the lines that the amulet share as she combined both the likeness of the
wolf and dragon within the circle. It took well into the late hours of the
night.
The Groves Mage: The housekeeper there in the tower had brought dinner
though it was ignored sitting to the side while she worked. Then with the
first rising of the sun just outside the window, Marie had finished up the
carving. The tiny woman
The Groves Mage: wrapped herself in the heavy wool cloak and snow leapord
mittens , Telarus winters were known to be bitter cold as she set off down
the trail toward the village and the smith. Thankfully Jassup was used to
such odd requests of the
The Groves Mage: small woman as he had just got the fires hot when she
arrived. The explaination of what she needed done and the casting handed
over to the man. He lifted a brow and set about his work. Marie waved at him
as she left and set off
The Groves Mage: from there to visit another of her friends within, might as
well get a bit of business completed as well as she spent a couple of hours
dealing with the common politics of being the Lady of the village. Once
those things were seen
The Groves Mage: to she carried herself back to the smithy and listened as
Jassup warned her not to tamper with the amulet as it was still frail and not
entirely cooled. The small mage gave a firm nod and moved over to peer at
it. She didn't speak
The Groves Mage: a word as she picked up the chisel and hammer.. with a pair
of swift taps.. the single amulet was broken into three pieces. Jassup was
rather upset with her.. and even grumbled still as she paid him the coin for
his work and time
The Groves Mage: while she carried the three pieces back to the tower. The
cloak and gloves were set aside as she waved to Martha who was displeased by
the fact the tiny woman still hadn't eatten. Though with Marie having an
idea of something..
The Groves Mage: speaking to her about anything but the project at hand was
useless. The tower itself seemed to throb with the magical energies, as the
tower itself set upon the marking of a large node of leylines.
The Groves Mage: However for Marie it was as rejuvenating. It pushed away
the exhaustion that had slowly seeped into her from the time spent away from
the tower. She walked into a different work room, this one created
specifically for the purpose
The Groves Mage: of spell casting. There were layers of wards to protect
herself as well as anyone else. The three pieces were set down onto the
center table within the room. The door was sealed with a glance and the rush
of energy slipped about
The Groves Mage: the room as the wards ignited all at the same time. For
her it was a rather euphoric feeling. Now to turn her eyes to the three
pieces of the amulet. Tiny chains would be fixed to them once she had
completed her choice of stones.
The Groves Mage: She whispered softly as she touched places upon the stone
table. " Green for the earthen meadows, blue for the waters, red for the
fires" With each touch of her finger upon the stone the gem she selected
appeared. The small smile
The Groves Mage: was given as she took up the green first. Each would have a
selected gift before the enchantment was placed upon them all. She let her
mind retire the barriers and binding walls as she welcomed the influx of
energy into her core.
The Groves Mage: Anywhere else she would have had to taken the time to
change it, shift it to allow her own aura's signature to purify it, here
however such was already completed. The pale eyes opened once more as only
that fiery blue ring remained
The Groves Mage: of the iris while the magic had washed away the color
otherwise to a stark white. The roll of the language of the Hill Giants came
from her mouth. Harsh and demanding as she placed the weaving upon the
stone. The spell that flowed
The Groves Mage: would premit its wearer to find any trail, regardless how
old.. how faint.. or how distant it may lead. Unerringly to know north .. a
spell of direction.

The Groves Mage: With that one in place she slowly sat it down onto the
table and reached for the blue stone of the waters. She had to pause a
moment to change her mindset and thinking pattern to take up the magics of
the elven people. The sweet
The Groves Mage: delicate weaving was much like listening to a hushed
lullaby as it enchanted the stone to allow the wearer the gift of water
breathing and swimming it would benefit them in many ways. It would aid in
locating clean water if there
The Groves Mage: was a need.

The Groves Mage: She slowly set that stone down as well. She had to take a
moment to breath as she drew again upon the wells within the tower of magical
energy. The last was one she had to ponder a moment. She smiled softly as
she gave a little
The Groves Mage: nod of her own as she took up the garnet and cradled it
within her hands. The words were not of any true race other then magic
itself. Yet it would give the wearer of this piece the blessing of speed.
Running with the speed of the
The Groves Mage: swift fires of the Morog Peoples. They were known in
another realm of existence they were creatures of flame yet they were
impossibly fast. This spell would enable the abilities to run for days
without end, expanding miles..
The Groves Mage: leagues while the wearer would feel as if they had done
nothing more then taken a simple walk.

The Groves Mage: She set it down and sighed softly as she looked at the
three pieces and carefully placed each stone to the piece and began the wards
and workings that would combine them, as the triplets three would be.
The Groves Mage: When together the three pieces would compliment each
other, an aura of protection cast about them. No evil would be able to stand
too close for the uneasy feeling would sink into their beings. The next
layer of the spell weaving
The Groves Mage: came the knowlege of knowing where the other was.. to know
when they were in trouble and pain. While yes it was possible they would
share a link, this would do nothing but strengthen that knowing.
The Groves Mage: The last spell was one of Marie's own , perminacy. Let none
unmake what she had created for if any wished.. it would cause an alarm
within herself. And let those that dare to unmake her works of love find
themselves answerable to
The Groves Mage: her.
