Lona had come under the message of her Vision. The Golden mist swirling around her feet that fateful night, had to be a sign! If not that, perhaps something else. She was determined to make this place right. There was a small cream colored journal that had been gifted a long time ago from the person claiming to be her mother. It did not matter -- she was going to start tonight and write the moments of her past in third person and go from there. Perhaps Lona could figure out where she went wrong. Shifting against the wall of where she stood with a quill in hand.
Lona Mithanian is a Tribal Elf, born in the middle of the Everglade, spending most of her youth as a thief and murderess. Lona is very competitive, easily bored, and quick to anger. Unlike normal people, she is undiplomatic, believing in the use of brute force and coercion to get her way. Not only is she extremely proficient with the Chakram, she is also ambidextrous. It is hard to understand why she’s vicious, unforgiving, unpredictable, violent. Lona was a sadistic killer without a conscience who would kill at the slightest provocation. Constantly living on the edge of life, Lona developed a rather bleak outlook, relying only on her own power, skills, and money. She did not believe in God or emotions.
However, that all turned around when she went on a vision quest as part of her path into adulthood. The Tribal Elves are required at the age of 120 to visit a cave far from their homeland. The cave is on the highest mountain in the region, the cave itself it small and very dark. Once inside they are to fall into a trance like state while burning special sticks of ivory grass. There, Lona admits to seeing what her future would hold if she did not amend her ways. Once she came back out and into the world of the light, she was the first to admit that she was no longer that sadistic killer who ruined everything she touched. Now, there was a woman ( with a few anger issues here and there ) that wanted to settle down and find something real. Something that she could hold onto with both hands and help grow. There are times when she gets angry and lashes out. However, that is something she tries to deal with ... without resorting to killing.
Lona closed the book without rereading her words. If was difficult to write and she knew that it was true. Some of her movements belied her past. One could tell that she was no writer from her use of grammar and words. The quill tapped against her chin for a second before sliding it into the confines of her journal. This story was far from over. There was much that needed to be etched into the annals of history. Such as who she was now, what she could do, and how many lives had been stolen at her hand. Glancing down to the pale fingers, Lona could still see the blood of many. This process of cleaning her soul was going to take time .. a whole lotta time.
