She chuckled softly. " Very well.. Proper , to behave in a proper manner in which one does not cast embaressment or give others within the community a reason to speak behind ones hands and further delve a family name into shame. By becoming pregnant before my wedding day I have already admitted that Tyreal and I have .. been together. Where I am from a woman is suposed to be a virgin, which Goddess no thank you.. what if you know they ...aren't very good? "She made a face and shook her head. ANYWAY.. Marie fell silent and listened to Tempest explain as she gave a small nod.
" I understand the concept of using such heightened emotions within one's craft, but for me.. thats far too personal to share even with the magic within me. I mean woudln't that almost broadcast the heightened state? " She canted her head. Open topic or one that she sooner not speak about due to the ah.. delicate nature. This was about magic.. it negated the embarassment.
As the conversation skipped about, all of which Marie rather enjoyed, it seemed to catch up three different conversations at once. Far easier and to the point. " Yes, Tyreal is Angel and Sate's son. "She gave a little nod. Though it was the first time she had dared speak the full name aloud.

She wrinkled her nose at her definition and shook her head. "Too much information. And as long as you and Tyreal are happy then who the hell cares if you had passionate sex and now you have are going to have a baby. And virgin. Pish posh." She waved her hand at her. "How do you know you are going to like sex with him after your married if you don't have sex before your married. See the logic? And very true Marie. What if he is the most horrible lover in the world and his breath stinks?" That comment sent off a peal of laughter from her. Holding her sides, tears streaming down face, she began coughing. Clearing her throat, she became serious once more.
"You don't share your magic with the other person at the "height of passion" you take theirs and feed it into your magic. Sort of like stealing but not really. Borrowing. That's the word I am thinking of. Never share power and magic." There was only one man she had never "borrowed" from. Their sex was more like sharing. And it was cataclysmic. It had taken her places that boggled her mind and sent her blood racing through her veins.
"See I knew that name sounded familiar." She tried to know everyone's name but sometimes the faces didn't match in her head. Not enough room in there for everything you know, well except for her magic.

The small mage giggled along with her, then as the subject turned serious once more Marie shook her head. " I do not think that I could.. take.. or borrow anything of that nature. It goes against what I was taught. Not to mention there would be a great deal to explain to my Goddess if I were to do such a thing. "She chuckled softly and well, Marie was not up for another lecture from that being..ever.
She had shared more openly with Tyreal then any other lover.. which was a delighted total of three. But still. She offered a small chuckled. " We should go and seek out the building I saw.. I would like very much your opinion on it. "She offered with a small hopeful smile.

"See that is the difference between you and I. Your power came from a Goddess. Mine comes from a demon and something else." She honestly wasn't ready to discuss the other part of her. She gave a nod and sat up, head spinning for a moment before she began playing with the one single braid, tiny silver bells woven into it, as she gave Marie a small smile.
"Well I am up for ride if you are. It isn't that far from here is it?" Ahhh so many thoughts ran through her head right now that it was hard to think of one thing. It was surprising the little vampire's head didn't implode from it all. She rarely slept these days and Arianna acting up didn't help. Standing, she took a long drink from the bottle that had been set at her feet, sighed and belched. "Um sorry bout that. Ready?"

Marie chuckled and shook her head. " My abilities are my own.. a craft I was born with, I bend my knee and faith to the will of the Goddess Kydalliana. A bit strange perhaps to be human and worshiping an elven Goddess.. but there has been very little that has been .. normal in this path I've choosen. "She grinned and gave a little nod.
She pushed herself up slowly from the chair and gave a small nod. " I think a ride would be lovely.. and no not far. "She chuckled as she listened to Tempest belch. "Ah well at least it wasn't the other end. " She pointed out with a wink.

"Oh gods please define normal. No wait don't. Nothing in this world is strange unless you think it is. We are all very different people, different things actually. It is what makes life interesting."
Smiling, she looped her arm around the Mage's shoulders. "Can you imagine the other end? EW EW no. So now let's head off to the stables and go run amok." She giggled as she led them out the of the castle and headed towards the stables.

Marie laughed softly and gave Tempest a poke in the ribs. " Goddess no.. you keep those backward belches to yourself.. thank you. " She added with a chuckle and gave a nod. " Right this way then oh Fearless Leader of mine. "She announced and set off for the stables.
Firefly was a large ugly warhorse with a tart disposition for being awaken at this hour. The horse sighed while Marie moved about adding tact and the bridle. Marie didn't use a bit, it always seemed a little too much to stuff the metal bar into the jaws of the horse. She hummed softly as she set the blanket it out , then shifted to heft up the saddle.
With a few good tugs here and there of the straps she caught the reigns and lead the old war dog out into the yard. She promised him warm blanket and mash when they got back. After all he wasn't a spring pup any longer. She placed a hand to the saddle horn and the rear of the saddle as she stepped up then swung her leg over. Taking a few moments to get comfortable before looking for Tempest. "Ready?"

"Well I promise I will keep them to my self but I can't say the same for my horse." Walking into the stables with Marie, she went to her horse. Most horses were frightened off by someone like her but her horse had been with her for years and Tempest had personally trained him. Taking a step near Damien, he began pawing at the hay within his stall. "Settle." With that one command, he lowered his head and nudged her in the shoulder with his nose. A small smile played at the corners of her mouth. Very rarely was she this open and care free with others around her. Only one other had seen her like this. The smile actually became a small frown as she took the blanket and laid it across Damien's back.
Saddle, bit and bridle came next and as she adjusted all the equipment, she grabbed the saddle horn and pulled her self into the saddle. Composing her self, she rode out of the stables and brought her horse near her.
"Ready? I will follow your lead." She shifted just a bit and regulated her body temperature as she had left her fur coat in the main hall. The black leather of her outfit covered her entire body from head to toe this day so the fur may have been a little much. Reaching up, she quickly braided her hair and gave a nod to Marie.

The small mage offered a grin and gave a small nod to her as she looked forward and lead Tempest out of the courtyard and onto the dirt packed road. The night seemed peaceful, with the soft blanket of snow covering everything and the clear sky over head. The moonlight offered enough light to see by.
The young woman took them toward the outter edges of the town as she skirted around a field and gave a nod to the old manor house. The shutters were hanging in a pericarious manner. The roof itself had caved in over the eastern wing and the door seemed to sit crocked against the frame. It needed work. Alot of work.. but it had alot of promise of what it could be. It was perhaps a candlemark or two from the castle and town, there were large fields that surrounded the area. Marie shifted a bit and looked back to Tempest was she quirked a grin. "It has alot of promise, but the frame work is sturdy and foundation is in good condition. "She offered as she half bit into the side of her jaw as she shifted a bit. Well waiting to see the woman's reaction to the old , very old.. worn out building.

Tempest actually enjoyed the ride to the old abandoned building. The night was quiet except the nocturnal animals they were sharing the moonlight with. This was the perfect time of the day for her. She felt alive, empowered. Her magic danced along her skin, her mind open to everything around them, protecting them both should some idiot dare attack them. Coming to a stop, just behind and to the side of Marie, Tempest looked over the building. She nodded and gave the other mage a wink.
"It's perfect. Of course there is a lot of work to be done but between both of us and some members of my clan, we can work with it. First thing to be fixed should be the roof. Then clearing it out and scrubbing it from top to bottom. Then we should work on the outside. I have furniture and wall hangings at BlackCross that are packed away. I can have those brought here once we have fixed it up." She gave Marie a wide, warm smile. Something not seen very often from her. She waited to see Marie's reaction.
