Marie caught that warm open smile of Tempest and felt highly flattered by it. The small nod was given to her as she looked back to it. The small side glance was given as she shifted a little in the saddle. " Do you want to see the inside? We'll have to be careful of course but there are a few things that helped bring my thoughts back to this particular structure. "She offered softly and glanced back to Tempest. Oh how those pale eyes of hers danced. While not a child of the night, she was one of adventure. well.. sometimes.
She nudged Firefly forward a bit as she moved closer to the building. "There is a well around back, it too will have to be rebuilt as well as the stables. " She pointed off toward the half standing outbuilding. It was surprising that a good stiff wind hadn't taken the place completely down to the foundation. " There is the antechamber that is open to the floors above, and the staircases ... " she spoke softly, the kitchens of course are toward the back but there are a few other smaller outbuildings. Some can be used for simple things such as storage, but I was also contemplating getting ahold of one of the craftsmen and having a hot house built. Give some of those students that are more inclined in using components the opportunity to grow their own instead of having to depend upon an apothecary. Either that we can use some of the plants there to bring in a profit by selling them to apothecaries or healing wards. " She pointed out with a grin.
Marie was a merhant at heart.. much like her father. Of course she'd not admit that ever in his presence. Both would likely keel over dead by that.

She shifted slightly as they moved closer to the building and shook her head. "Nay I don't need to look inside. I trust your thoughts and opinions Marie." Trust was not easily given when Tempest was involved. And those she had trusted as of late, had stabbed her in the back. And to be honest it still burned. She noticed Marie's eyes dance and become bright, a small black brow was raised, as she wondered just what kind of person she really was. Something told her Marie was not as prim and proper as she showed others.
She took note of the property and all of Marie's suggestions. "The well can be repaired by someone in MystHaven. I am sure we would have no problem hiring someone experienced in that kind of thing. The stables, roof and so on is something we can do. I can send for some trusted members of my clan to help with basic carpentry. The idea of a hothouse is actually good. We can use it for growing things that die during the winter months. And as for selling things that isn't a bad idea either. We can also barter for certain items we may need. You have thought all of this out well Marie. I am proud of you for being intuitive, inventive and insightful for what the Mage's need. Now here is the question for you?" She slid from her horse, took a few steps towards the building and then looked over her shoulder at her.
"When do you want to start?"

She looked almost startled at that comment from Tempest. While she didn't know much about the woman on a whole, she knew she liked her privacy, and often Tempest was a secular sort of individual. All in all Marie tried to give that to her. Most wouldn't understand the need for that sort of ... solitude. But then again Marie spent three years hiding from the world and emerced in her books. The smile was geniune as she offered it. " When. ah.. I wouldn't think we should put this off too much longer. I am not altogether certain how long your winters are here in GoldenMyst. I know that soon it will be planting time in Telarus.. which I should be present for. Its sort of a tradition.. " she admitted with a soft chuckle then came an idea.
"Would you like to help us? We can always use more hands when it comes to the fields.. and I can show you my stables there and what I've worked on. " she offered brightly. No, Marie was prim and proper though she had a small streak that adored fun.. it had been hidden away due to well some of what Tempest was enduring now. Those once called friends, loved as family and in the end their colors had been shown to be false. It had taught Marie a rather firm lession of just immediately accepting anyone. But ... thankfully.. Tyreal was coaxing her out of all that.
In that respect she was a very lucky young lady.
" Of course we're going to want to bring in the others.. brain storm a bit of how we want the interior to look.. what sort of reflection upon ourselves as well as the division this place should give. " She pondered and looked upon the old worn mansion. " And a name.. but first thing's first.. getting the old girl back up onto her feet. "She gave a firm sort of nod. The grin never once slipped from her features.. honestly this was a chance for all of them to give a taste of what they were truly capable of. Perhaps a bit arrogant in that, but still.. there was alot each of them could offer here.

She gave Marie a curious look as Marie appeared startled by her comment. Well that was odd. Were her horns showing? Ok that was a small joke.
"I agree. There will be things that need to be done come spring so we should try to get this place put back together before then. Winters usually end after the spring equinox which isn't that far off. March 21st I believe. Spring planting will start around then. And as for traditions I don't pay much attention to those. Telarus and GoldenMyst's planting is probably round the same time."
Now it was her turn to look utterly shocked. Marie was actually offering to her, to go with to her kingdom and help with spring planting.
"I thank you for your offer Marie but I don't think a demonic vampire would be welcome."
More and more Tempest was keeping to her self as of late. Certain nights, she refused to even be in the castle. Looking back to the ruins of the building that soon become a school, she began playing the end of the braid that held the little silver bells weaved into it.
"The others. Well we could send out a small missive to them to see if they would like to help but I wouldn't get my hopes up on a response. And as for a name, that is something to ponder as well. I guess within the missive we should ask the others for ideas on what they think an appropriate name would be."
On names she would be lost. With her luck she would think of something dark and foreboding. She didn't think the school would be very popular if she came up with a name. Crossing her arms over her chest, black nails tapping against her forearms, she turned to look at Marie once more.
"Let's hope the others, will be willing to teach and learn."

Marie chuckled softly and gave a little nod. " The choice is yours.. Myriel's Grove is rather. open about most things.. so long as you don't go around eating people I think you'll be fine. " She reassured her but still the choice was her own. " Well we'll get the missive together and start cleaning on this place.. and go from there. If they are willing to help it will be wonderful. if not.. so be it. " She shrugged. Marie was finding herself excited by the prospect of the school.. and those that wished to help were welcome to.. otherwise.. she wouldn't cry into her pillow.

She gave a side long look to Marie and then shook her head as she looked away from her, crystal blue hues taking in the building before her once more.
"I don't like cannibalism. Flesh just never held a taste to me. Blood and souls on the other hand. A completely different story."
Taking a small step foreward, she closed her eyes and in her mind she could see the potential the building had.
"I can send a missive out to the others. I have others I have to write as well and will make sure they are all sent this night. Before I return home for a few days."
It was not a wise idea to leave those within her clan alone for too long and she still kept a watchful eye on Noel.
"When I return I can bring some of the men from my castle and have them began work. Is that all right with you?"

Marie made a little face, only because dealing with souls and such was far darker then what the little mage dealt with. The clerical path she walked forbade it. She grinned again when she turned her eyes to the building and gave a small nod. " No I have no worries with that.. I do hope they won't mind overly much if I am here while they do so. There are a few things I would like to help with.. and sometimes its good to keep a mage on hand. "She chuckled softly. If anyone got hurt or the like.. Marie could at the very least do a bit of field medicine. The little shiver laced down her spine as she glanced over once more. " I don't know about you..but I'm getting a little chilly. "She chuckled softly. " a warm cup of tea sounds about right. .what about you? " She asked softly.

She never saw the face Marie made. She was still focused on the building in front of her. Slowly she opened her eyes and then turned and looked over her shoulder at the mage still atop her horse.
"They won't mind that you are here to um watch over them. They will also have clear instructions that they are to obey you like they would me and that they will be on their best behavior."
There was no doubt in her mind that those trusted enough to work on this project would behave. They knew what would happen if even one hair on their heads got out of line.
She made her way back to her horse, grabbing the saddle horn, she swung her self into the saddle and adjusted her self; a small nod given to Marie.
"Aye I am ready to go. And maybe not tea for me. I am thinking whiskey."

The soft chuckle was given from Marie as she canted her head. The pale blue eyes blinked slowly as the vapid airhead smile appeared on her face then came that silly innane giggle. What? Oh it was delightfully useful from time to time. " Are you sure you want them listening to me?" She asked before the outright laugh came from her.
"Ugh.. how can you drink that stuff.. I tried it once I swore I'd never do it again. "She promised, that had nothing to do with the pregnancy..she simply didn't like it. She glanced back to the building and frowned slighlty. For a moment she thought she had seen something move passed one of the upper windows. She stared a moment longer then shook her head. Silliness.. as she blinked and looked to Tempest.
"Shall we? " She asked.

She shook her head and smiled at Marie as she gave her the most evil smile. "They won't have a choice but to listen to you Marie. They will follow my orders or they will die. Meaning they will follow yours."
A small chuckle was given as Marie asked her how she could handle whiskey. "It leaves a fire in your belly. And what happened that one time that would prevent you from trying it again?" The hair on the back of her neck stood on end as she felt more then saw the same presence Marie had. Shaking it off, she nodded to Marie. "Aye I'm ready. And tomorrow I think I shall come back and cast a protection spell before we begin work." She pulled her horse up next to Marie and nodded. "Let's get back."
