Life.
The night seemed to be alive, well of course every night seemed to flow with a magic of life that breathed and coursed through her very veins as each step was taken. With the stars twinkling above in that dark sky clear without any marring of clouds that drifted and the constellations painted in guidance to the star watcher.
Cool breeze drifted over the rough pelt, gold tips danced over the coat in the glistening ripple of beauty in its true primal existence. The topaz twin gaze seemed to take in the sight of a mother bird settling down on the top of her fledglings, the doe with her fawn resting in a thicket as many with their children were sleeping for the night.
The alpha female stepped upon the grass letting the blades be crushed then rise after she moved forward, triangular ears pricked up listening to the earth itself breathing beneath the soft velvet pads of the lupine's steps. Winter was coming, the cold weather would bring the nights of sleeping infront of the fireplace at Lina's lap.
Fireplace.
She remembered the times she curled herself around Nicho's body as a child to keep him warm and a sort of guardian figure. She shook her head of those thoughts, with them would come memories of a lost marriage, a mating that should have lasted forever but she chose a wolf fighting to be in a man's suit but the fur always puffed through.
The winter was the start of everything for her, the myst had taken her from her home in Ireland and revealed to her that she was not just some naive wolf but a warrior, a fighter and a friend.
She was and always would be Riley Sanguine Claws O'Connor.
She turned from her spot there upon the hill, slow steps taken to return on patrol through the forest, it was the usual place one could try and find her. But finding her was often the hardest part when a black wolf could slip through the Umbra, the spirit world, as easily as through thin air.
