::She gave a sigh of relief and then leaned down and whispered in her daughter's ear...Kahlan ran to her father, hugged him round the knees, and then ran into Desari's rooms...Desari leaned against the wall and smiled:: Thank you Vincent...I know she has to train with you...It is a part of who she is...But to me she is still my baby...My youngest...In a year I will be more prepared...::Pushing away from the wall, she walked to him and reached for his hand...Suddenly she stopped and crossed her arms over her chest:: Would you like to join us? We are having a little party with hot cider and honey cakes...::She glanced to the door of her rooms and then back to him::

::Waiting for what seems like forever for him to give an answer, she nodded to him:: If you would like to join us you are welcome to...I can not leave them alone for to long...::Turning away, she pushed the door of her room open and walked in to find chaos...She smiled as she watched them all run around and play...Picking her way thru everything that was on the floor, she crossed the room to the window and sat on the seat in front of it and absorbed the scene in front of her::

[Lady Desari]

::looking around her room, she gave a small smile:: As well as I can be amongst all this... But I can not complain... RavensWood is prosperous and my children are happy... What more can I ask for? Now, tell me how have you been as of late? And where is Lilith?

[Arathorn Lee Sutton]

~ You know me Des. I have been here and there. But I am doing fine. Lilith is still I think trying to get her mind right. Or strait I think.~

[Lady Desari]

Then why are you not with her? Why are you here with me?

[Staver]

::A gentle breeze filled the room and a in flies a bat. It flutters around a few times before hovering a few feet off the ground. It squeaks as it's body expands and deforms. Slowly the shape changes into that of a man with leathery bat-like wings, silver hair and silver eyes. He looks at Arathorn and then to Desari. He smiles weakly as his wings drape over his bare shoulder's like a cloak. He looks back to Arathorn and nods once then once more those silver orbs fall upon Desari.::

"It has been a long time Desari, how have you been?

[Lady Desari]

::the children screeched as the bat flew round her room...raising a brow, she shushed them as they climbed upon her bed...she watched transfixed as the bat began to slowly change into a man...a man she knew...the minute Staver locked eye with Arathorn, Arathorn choose that moment to fade away...amber hues looked Staver up and down and she gave him a small smile...:: I am well...::she honestly had no answer for him..she had not seen him in two years and a lot had happened in two years...she had travled...had another child...RavensWood was doing well and she her self was a different person...:: It has been a long time Staver...Are you back within the realm?

[Staver]

::He shrugs as he looks at her. Two years have gone by since he last laid eyes on her and she is still as beautiful as he remembered.::

"I don't know if I am welcome. I came to you on a whim. Remember I was exiled upon "pain of Death" by Nicho himself, for killing his father.

::He sighed and shook his head, as he did the silver seemed to run off his hair like water reveailing the black hair that Desari was used to seeing. He blicked a couple of times and those deep blue eyes faded into his sockets.::

"It was foolish of me to try and come back, but I just had to see you one last time."

::He looks deep into her eyes, a single tear escpes one of his sapphire orbs as he does.::[/b]

::she shook her head at the glamor...standing from her seat at the window, she walked over to the children and spoke to Kendrick:: Take your sisters back to the solar...I 'll be up in a little bit to say good night...:: Kendrick nodded and climbed out off the bed...Isabeau followed as did Kahlan...Kahlan stood at the doorway for a moment, intense blue eyes staring at Staver...in a blink, she was gone...turning back to Staver, she crossed her arms and spoke:: First of all, believe it or not, you are welcome here...Second my lands are not apart of GoldenMyst...They are separate just like Ivory Rose and GoldenHorn...Third why did you have to see me? ::was she bitter? no...just curious...she wasn't very emotional anymore except where her children were concerned...that part of her was closed off...it made life quieter...she reached for her tea on the night stand and waited for his answer::
