She was in the middle of a good part of her book when she heard the screams of a woman. Standing up, her glass of juice hit the ground and shattered. She ran to the door that connected the main hall and the gardens and saw a woman screaming in the strangers face. She stood there, slackjawed, eyes wide. She was was basically telling him to go to hell. She caught a name and wondered who the woman was. She was so stunned, she couldn't move nor speak.

::He stood there his eyes fixed on Tempest. The first person he has seen in GoldenMyst castle that he reconizes. Her words sink in and he stands there as she uncoils her whip.::
"I didn't leave on purpose. I was bannished from Goldenmyst and then after I was resurrected I stayed long enough to learn about this new form. Other than that I has forced out. But if you feel you must kill me ot throw punishement on me in anyform feel free. But Tell Payne that I am sorry. ANd I am sorry she lost our child.
::Staver took a step forward and pulled open his cloak. He also un folds his wings. He stands there, a tear in his eye as he waits for Tempest to strike.::

"You're sorry... "
Her voice was like a knife that drove right through his back that could bring him to his knees. In the doorway behind Staver, stood the one woman in the world that loved him more than anything. The woman who was willing to give up everything for him. Ah, but she wasn't that same woman anymore. Now hardened and untrustful, she glares at him through black narrowed eyes.
"You know, I still don't even know the real reason you left me...alone... pregnant....broken...." Nonchalantly walking past him towards Tempest, hips swaying back and forth with the seduction of a true vampire. Her tone almost wistful, a hand waving in the air with each word.
Once she reaches Tempest's side, she turns, leveling her gaze with his. "You are not the same either, Staver. I didn't know who you were then, and I sure as hell don't know who the hell you are now. But I do know one thing.... You... will never hurt me again." Lifting her arm onto Tempest's shoulder, resting it there as she leans on her cousin. "And I know that, because you would have to get through her..." Points. "...first...."

The most evil grin crossed her features as she heard her cousin and then saw her behind Staver. Oh did she forget to mention that she had screamed out for Payne? She blew on her nails and then buffed them on her shirt as she watched her cousin move. Damn she forgot how hot her cuz was. Payne was so much more calm about it then she had been. But don't push her. Her body did not move an inch as Payne rested her arm on her shoulder. One long, red nail tapped against the handle of her whip, which was resting in her right hand. Suddenly that hand snaked out and cracked the whip. It sliced thru the air and whistled less then an inch from his left cheek.
"Now I will probably get banished for that but let it stand as a warning. Come near her again and they will never find your body. You will now forget that you ever met her and the fact that she ever breathed."
The hand holding the whip came up as she scratched her chin with that same nail.
"In fact why don't you run along and see if you can't find that whore. What's her name? You know the one who got knocked up by Ryu? Maybe she will fall for all the lies and bullshit. But don't ever come near us again. Now am I understood?"

She didn't even flinch when that whip cracked. It was like music to her ears as she grins. She waits for Tempest to finish her lecture of Staver, then steps forward, patting the hand of her cousin that held the whip.
"Oh come now, Tempie... don't you think you're being a bit harsh?" Sly half grin as she saunters closer to the winged man, stopping just inches from his frame, a long black nail running down the bridge of his nose, over his mouth and chin, down his neck to his chest. "He might be useful if you think about it." Glancing at her beautiful cousin over her shoulder before looking back at Staver. But she didn't look back to his gaze, she was eyeing his neck, her tongue darting out to lick her lips unconsciously. "I mean really, when was the last time you fed, dear cousin?" She emitted a low growl that almost sounded like her stomach was rumbling with hunger when it was really her soul.

"Useful? Feed from him?" She gagged. "Oh gods I don't want food poison. But if you want." She cracked her whip again. "I could dress him up like a turkey and you can so go to town. Not like anyone around here would miss him. Been ages since he has been around."
Hearing her cousin growl was one of the most beautiful sounds she had heard in months. She did lick her lips though. It had been awhile since she had fed.
"Can I play with him first?"
Now remember Tempest's way of playing with someone did not mean anything nice.

::His eyes fell as the scene played out before him. He came looking for familiar faces from his past and boy did he get what he wanted. If he lived through this he would keep the phrase "Be careful what you wish for.." in his mind. He closed his eyes for a moment then opened them. He looked from Payne to Tempest and then back to Payne.::
"I know there is nothing I can do or say to make up for what I did. And I realize now that coming back was a mistake. Like I told Tempest do what you want to me. There is no pain that you can inflict on me that will ever match the pain I felt when I left this place. The first place that treated my like an equal.
::He took a step back and once again stretched his arms out and his wings followed suit. His wing span was close to 7 feet and their tips out distance his finger tips by half a foot on either side.::
"Like I said before. Do what you will... I deserve it all and will take it without a flinch of scream of pain. And I doubt you would get Banished for killing me Tempest. It might actually put you in favor of King Nicho..."
::He stood there awaiting his punishment for the breaking of his banishment.::

"Oh when the hell are you going to stop playing the martyr? When you eventually die?"
She mimicked him. The back of her hand on her forehead. "Oh I deserve it. Kill me. Punish me. Oh whoa is me." She leveled her gaze at him.
"Get over it and get over your self. Act like a frickin man and take responsibilities for what you have done."

Approaching from behind Pheonix, she lightly touched her fingertips to the woman's shoulder as she stood frozen watching the scene. Nym wasn't entirely certain that she recognized the three causing the scene in the castle, but she did know that it had woken her daughter from her nap.
Xia was rubbing her eyes in the rider's arms, stifling a yawn as she cuddled closer against her mother and murmured sleepily against Nym's shoulder. Not that it made any sense, but Nym smiled at the faint sounds.
A diamond shone nearly as bright as the nearest stars in the dead of night from her ring finger. The rider was happy and engaged once again, holding her child and standing in one of the first true homes she'd ever known. Her voice was gentle as she spoke, dark green eyes darting toward the group again. "Coming too near a hearth tends to burn though, if you keep yourself far enough, it'll melt the cold away. Perhaps homecomings are the same? It is hard, when you jump feet first into the fire. You completely bypass the warmth and welcome," she didn't know the man, but he had the air of one who had been gone for quite some time.
She'd seen the same look on Syn when he'd, finally, returned to her. Well, to GoldenMyst. As much as the dragonrider had loved her mage, he'd never truly been returned to her, by Nym's own doing. He'd returned to his daughter, though. That was all she could have asked for.

She jumped as the woman, holding the child, laid her hand on her shoulder. She had no idea what was going on. There were now two women who were very angry at the stranger. Threats had been thrown out and let's face it. That whip being held by the one woman scared her senseless. The child looked sleepy and she wondered if the girl should even be here. She had heard the conversation and felt sorry for the other woman. She could not imagine being pregnant and then left. And then to loose that child. Something however told her that the woman being called Payne would not take it lying down.
