She heard him land nearby, but didn't move. Her arm still covering closed eyes as she listens to his voice. It wasn't until he finally said he loved her that she finally moves her arm slowly from her face and opens her eyes, looking up at him, eyes red from crying.
She looks at the outstretched hand he had offered, then back to his eyes again. Big mistake. It was all there, right there in his eyes. What the hell was she to do now? She wanted to scream, she wanted lash out, she wanted to hug him, she wanted to kiss him. Her heart torn in two different directions. Looking back at his hand, she slowly lays her bloody, dirty hand into his without a word. She knew that she wouldn't be able to stand on her own just yet.
She did agree that she needed to be cleaned up, that was for sure. But talking about this? Not so sure. She feared another outburst, one worse than this one. And it would be directed at him and him alone. She just hoped he knew that this was going to get horribly worse before it ever got better.

::He takes her hand and then slowly lifts her into his arms. He sighed as he knew what this meant. He knew Payne all to well. It was going to be a chastising to say the least. He held her close as he took flight once again.::
"Lets go home..."
::He keeps his eyes on Payne the entire time. He would never forget where her home was. His mind wanders to the good times they had. Hoping that they would be enough to keep her from killing him when she regained her strength. He lit down upon the steps to her Manor and sighs remembering the first time he walked these steps. He walks to the door and moves his hand. The door opens and he walks them through the doorway and away from prying eyes.::

She knew deep down in her souless mind what Payne had choosen to do. Sliding off the stool slowly, she coiled up her whip and hung from the belt that rode low on her hips. Except for her son, she was now alone in the realm. Something tugged at the back of her mind and she shoved it away because she could not deal with that pain as well as losing Payne. Making her way out of the castle, she mounted her horse and took one last look at the castle. One little nudge in the flanks of her horse and began her ride back to Blackcross manor.
