It was like some fantasy out of a book....the sun was rising sending a golden halo across the sky, the morning dew sparkled liek diamonds through the morning fog that settled over the very ground. On the horizon someone stood, a unicorn standing beside the creature. At first the person would not be reconigized for the sun that burned so bright put a glow around them, making them seem more like a figure of the gods then any true mortal.
Each step disappeared into the settled fog, as both figure and unicorn came near toward the kingdom of Goldenmyst. A sign of a holy rebirth? No, not even a savior, but instead a woman who once called the kingdom home years ago.
Into the territory of Goldenmyst she entered, the woman being no other then Destiny Vercengetorix. There she stepped gracefully, her movements more defined as pure elegance in its finest form. Here is a place she once called home, a place where Paul made her smile, where Maggie made her into the lady she was today, even where she met her beloved and father to her son, Ashram. So many fond memories, and yet there were shadows and darkness over certain parts.
At a time she felt the world she called home was tainted by darkness, reeking of evil that needed to be cleansed, but today she came not to preach about the past, nor did she really wonder how the kingdom turned itself around. Today she came to show her old family a new member in her life, Caelum Vercengetorix.
The one she talked about sat upon the back of the unicorn, his fingers laced in the golden mane of the beast. He was 21 months old, and was able to sit up. The boy had hair the color of the midnights, and eyes the gleaming grey tone of a swords blade, he was what people would call a mini me. His expressions were childish, but there was so much of Ashram in that child that it could not be denied that he was the Lord of Vercengetorix's heir.
Throught hte arched gates Detsiny went, followed by no other then Rampago and her flesh and blood, today would be his debut. Here he would be known, he would be the untold but seen silent message of his father's marriage and life.
Through the courtyard she stepped, vivid jade pools gleaming with pure contentment as she eyed those that stood guard of the castle. Of course there was no more then a few faces, maybe two to four of them in total. It was similar to when she left, so content on wards, praying each night that they never failed them as they slept. She prayed the same thing for them, never wanting to see any of them harmed. Friend or foe, this is where she lived when she was away from Talasane, and with the good and bad, it was her second home during her youth.
Closing toward the stairs, her fingers gripped the white satin of heavy skirts her moving up each step, glancing back to make sure Caelum was well and that Rampago got up easy enough. Of course the mission was a success, both unicorn and woman staring up at the heavy decorated door of the keep's entrance.
Would it still be so comfortable and glamourous? She shouldn't of even questioned the though for when the doors opened the beauty of the castle unfolded before her eyes. It still held the same beauty of decoration for when she was growing up beneath Maggie's wings.
Enter she did, her closely followed still, her gaze in awe as memories of times of ole zipped through her mind. Some even made her giggle at the sheer amusement of it all. Times whee she would have fun with pies, or when they had the water fights... even the times she was sneaking maggies delicious honey cakes from the kitchen and hiding them under her dress or in her shirt.
Her laughter echoed around her, only to be drowned away but the chatter of those that resided in the keep and were spending there time in the comfort of what one would consider the main hall.
Fianlly getting to her goal she paused, the unicorn stopping as well. Without even looking at the beast and her child she lifted her right hand her lightly petting the snout of the beast of purity. Here she was...Goldenmyst...
