So far, so good. In spite of the pain from the arrow still in his shoulder, Nicho was in high spirits. It hadn't taken them long to encounter some of the mage hunters, though a more inept pair he wasn't likely to find. It had taken the better part of an hour to let them capture him. Gelina had managed to make them think she was on their side, she was as yet unbound, though perhaps they didn't quite trust her yet. Nicho was currently slung over the shoulders of the swordsman, while Lina and the bowmen followed behind. They were on their way to the Mage Hunters headquarters.

While being questioned by Diego, the leader of the Mage Hunters, Nicho has blocked all of his mental connections to the outside world, appearing as a simple mageling. When Diego stepped outside to investigate a disturbance, leaving four guards to watch them, Nicho shifts into a ghost and escapes his bonds.
Meanwhile, the disturbance was caused by Aiden, in lion form, rushing through the mage hunter camp, trailing a honeycomb on his tail. Dropping the honeycomb in the center of the camp, shifting into a trout as he leaps into the river.
At Nicho's shift to ghost, Gelina takes dragon form, much too large for the chamber she is in. The walls crumble and the four guards flee. Breaking through the command post, she emerges from the rubble as the Aspis, the insectoid creatures much like ants, except for being the size of horses, attack the camp. Mage hunters run everywhere, trying to repel the insect invasion.
Aiden, meanwhile, had swum upstream, shifting back into a lion and circling to the east side of the camp, attacking a sentry there. At the same time, a party led by Knight Captain Veronus hit the camp from the west. (Veronus, Ebony, Haley, Angel and Jecht.)
Three Necromancers try to capture Nicho's ghost as Diego deals with the red dragon, sending furious bolts of energy at the dragon. Nicho has already shifted back to human, so the necromancer's magic has little effect upon him. He knocks Diego's Staff of Power from his hand with a blow from Earthbinder, the sword being literaly a part of him, summoned at need. The necromancers continue in their efforts to capture Nicho, a spectral hand grasping at him from the earth.
Diego and Gelina are putting on a spectacular show, fires from the dragon and energy bolts from the leader of the Mage Hunters light up the entire camp. She swoops and picks him up in her talons, lifting him into the air. His touch burns to the bone, so the dragon releases him to fall forty feet into the heart of battle, then lands upon him, ripping at him with her talons as she attepts to charbroil him with her flaming breath.

Nicho dives away, into a roll that manages to take him to the staff, picking it up as he strikes a necromancer in the neck with Earthbinder, nearly severing head from body. The remaining necromancers strike again, at which the young king leaps away, onto the red dragon's back. His attempt to heal her fails as Diego slams her with a terrifying blow that Nicho can feel through her backbone as he sits astride her.
The Aspis continue to tear into the camp of mage hunters, causing havok as they bite and stab with sharp sword-like appendages. Veronus leads the people from GoldenMyst in a valiant effort, Ebony's deadly arrows flying through the camp with great effect.
Nicho's attempt to heal Gelina fails as the necromancers continue to attack him. He draws energy from the necromancers, using his own necromancy against them. At this time, Syn appears on the dragon's back, beside Nicho. His first act is healing the red dragon, his power surging through her and enabling her to attack Diego again, wounding him mortally. Nicho converts the necromancer's energy into healing, helping Gelina also.
Syn makes a phenominal leap from the dragon's back, landing next to Diego, his sword cleaving through the leader's head, sticking in his chest. Diego is dead even before Syn twists the blade and draws it out, wiping it clean on the leader's body. Suddenly, the tide of battle turns.
Knowing they stand no chance, the necromancers try to flee, only to be foiled by the battle at the edge of camp. Syn's arrow takes out one of them, while Nicho dashes through the melee to behead the other. Confounded on all sides, the few hunters that escape do so by leaping into the river.
The mage hunter camp is finished, all that remains is a few Aspis roaming from body to body. These are herded into the river also, where they promptly sink and drown. The people of GoldenMyst rejoice and proceed to heal the worst of their injuries and return to the castle victorious.
The End.
