Returning From The Past?

"I don't know what is wrong with you Destiny... but you are in no condition to be alone. Desari will put a maid with you. I will go find Ashram." He knew Ashram was in Tara because the pull he felt inside him. After Getting Destiny and Veedo into beds, Ryu started toward where he felt the pull to Ashram. Something within Ashram had faded... part of the evil that resided within him. Ryu knew that Ashram was one of the lucky ones to get rid of the Darkness within... but Ryu was darkness... forever cursed by it. Born it in.

She gave Ryu a look in response to his comment to her then looked over to Desari and shook her head. <See what I have to put up with?> She then turned around and padded away from everyone and headed towards her santuary..the forest.

[Desari]

::she shook her head and growled at Ryu:: I will take care of Vee and Desi...I will have maids attend them both and you know it...And I don't want you to leave you stubborn fool...You know you are welcome to stay as long as you need...Ash,Desi and Vee are welcome as well...Now if you will excuse me I will make sure everything is prepared for the rest of the day...::she smirked at him and walked up tp Crystal and nodded her head in agreement:: ~Aye I see what you put up with...Tis the same stubborness I have been dealing with for years...~

She snickered and then looked Ryu's way to see his reaction then would follow after Desari. She enjoyed Desari's children even though they were nothing but trouble.

As Ryu stepped away his form would die and he would go back to his black hair and his sapphire hues would gloss over as he held his heart, his breathing raspy and sweat dripping down his face. Been far to long since he slept, his body was at less than 10% of its energy level, once his body reached 12% the healing genes of his body would quit taking effect.

As soon as he fell to his knees he would link his mind to where he felt Ashram. ~Get up... Destiny needs you. Your wife needs you more than ever, she thinks she has lost you my friend.... I will meet you half way.~

Getting to his feet he would be gritting his teeth and keep walking just looking over to his shoulder to Desari. I am going to get Ashram." And he would walk away toward Ash's resting place.

When she was brought to the guest bedroom and left there by Ryu and Desari, she flipped. As the door closed before her eyes, she ran at it, closed fists slamming against the heavy wood. To her she didn't see this as a guest room, but instead a prison in which she was sentenced to. Even with the luxeries she had around her; her mind had set up an illusion of the damp cold cells of the dugeons. Much screaming was heard from inside that room; the sound of fist and feet beating the door made passing servants turn in wonder of what horrors possessed the visitor of Tara.

Hours had passed after Destiny gave up on her fit of wanting to escape; only to note the door creeking open with cautious before her very eyes. An elderly woman waddled in, tray in hands only to note the girl on the bed, her back between the headboard and the wall. Destiny's head was hung low, knees drawn to her chest, rocking back and forth muttering words in elven to herself.

Blinking at the behavior the older woman approached the bed, her coming to lay the tray on it, the scent of sweet foods and bread filling the small room. "Eat." A one word order that only got the respondance of a hum coming to join in with the rocking girl's motions; but never a gesture of thanks or that she was given going to eat was offered to the woman. So the girl didn't want to eat, huh? Very well... Pitiful eyes cast down upon the deranged girl, her giving a sigh. Noone knew what truthfully happened to her, but the old woman did coem to agree that Desari's guest belonged in an asylum instead of a guest room like the other servants of the keep had came to believe.

Leaving the food on the bed the woman left, but as the door closed fully she shook her head in shame as the sound of the glass and ceramic bowls and the silver tray were thrown at the door then hitting the floor in a shattering clamor.

Destiny was soon left with only herself and the haunting thoughts and memories... The demon did win in his game. Maybe he didn't kill her physically, but he succeeded in many ways. His darkness shattered her world, conquerored her soul, and destroyed her mind. This within itself was worse than death...to leave her with nothing...no true passion, no AShram, nothing at all. Yes, she began to believe the fact that she was just that...nothing.

At night the halls of the castle were walked through. The image of the insane creeping through unlit ways casting the shadows upon the wall. Late night servants tried to talk to her, but they never got a word from the maiden only to stare of those dull lifeless green eyes. Even Ryu nor Desari could get her to speak; for she only gave them an absent silence and their images reflected back at them through sadden hues.

Not once did she speak of what happened, her never wanting to relive the memories of the one man she would do anything for dieing by her hands. No emotion to her either after daybreak the next morn; even when the gods visit and "regretfully" told her of her loss of paladinship To her the words didn't even come, she just listened to her own scrambled thoughts in her mind leaving her little time to listen.

(Ryu is NOT in the castle, he is off to find the sleeping ashram. NO RYU FOR YOU!)

As he walked he could sense something back at the castle. And he stopped, eyes widening as he slowly looked back not in view of the castle now. Insanity... a form of evil. And he knew who it was coming from. All darkness was felt by Ryu, and now, Destiny had a part of the darkness within her.

"Destiny hold on. I will bring him to you." He would look toward where he felt Ashram. ~Damnit, get up and start walking toward me, I know your weak, hurt and in pain, but your wife needs you. My body has barely energy left... if Seragatto comes, he will finish me off. And Persephony will let him. But at least let me get you to Destiny before he does come.~

[Veedo]

Well all seemed quiet now, for the mostpart, and our sleeping Veedo awoke, body shooting up to the sitting position lips uttering his fathers name, before shaking his head and trying to figure out where he was "... What happend..?" Bah! He couldn't think, and with that lay back down, staring up at the ceiling while thinking of what to do.

[Desari]

::Desari went thru the motions of the day...she tried on more then one ocasion to talk to Destiny but to no avail...the children crept past her room...not wanting to disturb her...she knew the servents were talking about Destiny behind her back...Desari overheard one conversation and dismissed th woman on the spot...she made it very clear to the rest of them that she would not tolorate that in her house...Desasri was curled up on the sofa in the main hall...the children in bed and the castle was quiet...Desari let go of energy and it roamed the halls...she tried to comfort Destiny thru the small gesture and it had not helped...she knew what it was like to think you have lost the man you loved...her heart went out to her...somewhere off in the distance a lone bag pipe could be heard...the soothing notes floated on the night breeze...candles burned low and the scent of heather filled the room...Desari only hoped that this in someway calm Destiny so she could at least sleep...she knew not what happened with Ash but prayed Ryu could help..::
