Oh and she had. As it fell it disappeared in a flash only to reappear beside them on the wall. ~So deserving of your death...~ It soon would flicker from exsistance only to have the sky flash in lightning showing course of the Gods' anger.
Noone could stop them, Ryu couldn't defeat a god in the undead form, Lina could only retreat to Elysium of the dead, and Ashram and Desi? No challenge for those that watched from above and used the mortals as their game pieces in a eternal game of chess.
The rain suddenly came, it pouring down upon them all, it not a light rain but hard, cold and ferious. The wind soon came to pick up, its chilled breath lashing at the flesh of them all leaving it redden from the cold.
And just as a gust came through towards Ryu and Lina, Seragato appeared again on Ryu's shoulder. ~ Tell her to apoligize, or everyone will suffer for her sharp tongue.~ Mocking eyes flamed toward Lina as his voice echoed between Ryu and her. ~You seem to like to do that a lot... make others suffer the rath of the Gods because you can't hold your tongue... even in death....~

Ryu would smile as he canted his head looking at the messenger.
"Say what you will, I am done fighting Ashram. He is no longer a holder of my hatred." Now that sick grin would cross his face. "But keep trying to manipulate me and your gods will suffer, I have destroyed many of them before, and more will die if they keep up their manipulative games."
With that he would wrap his arms around his wifes spirit, whispering everything he felt in his heart for her, his love, devotion and caring. "I will always love you lina... always..."

::looking to the messenger again and the gods wrath above him he would step away from his wife, to the edge and now his cloak would slip from his body as he prepared himself.:: ~Ashram, together, we could accomplish anything... even with me undead. We would be unstopable.~

::he would look to Lina with kind eyes:: "Love, I want Ash to fight together with me, against the gods... not against me. I have no quarrel with Ashram any longer."

::he would look to his wife, his teeth grinding as he those sapphire hues began to shimmer with more unshed tears, his hand sliding forward to touch her cheek before she fully fades:: "I will find a way to bring you back... someday, someway... but I know I can do it somehow."
::He would lean in to kiss her before she went fully, Ezrebrum's glowing blade slowly dimming as Lina fades from touch, and when his lips no longer touch hers he clenches his free hand:: "Somehow Lina...."

"I just do." It was a short responce to her question as he walked on. He really had no reason to but the hate had been around too long without any real peace and it all was just something that felt natural when he saw or felt Ryu's presense. With Ryu letting go of his hate for Ash it would also get Ash to eventually cast off any hate he held. But for now there was no hope in getting Ash to do as Ryu did.
Ryu's voice echoed in his head after talking about fighting along his side against the gods. Ash fought along side no one he didn't respect. Ryu probably wasn't the one who would go out of his way to get that respect. There would be no such team as long as Ash stuck to his ways.
The shadows around him gathered and swept over them. For a time they were gone along with their presences. When he did exit the shadows he was sitting near a cliff overlooking the sea holding his wife who sat on his lap. His eyes had closed and he listened to the sounds. He felt better having put a little distance between him and Ryu. But once more he felt lost and didn't know what was to happen with anything. He didn't mind the feeling of not knowing. As long as he was with his wife he knew things would turn out alright.

::he would run his hands over the red dragon's head as he smiled, his eyes glowing red for a moment from his dragon form he was keeping hidden:: "Maybe, there is a way I could bring you back if I make a deal with the gods...." ::what deal he would keep unsaid, there few things the gods wanted from him, usually for him to kill others, or kill himself... but for his wife, any deal could be struck::

Destiny didn't speak for a long time, her just happy gathered in Ashram's arm. When the shadow's came aroudn them she closed her eyes allowign the cool embrace to engulf her. It didn't last long though for when it dispersed she was sitting on Ashram's lap her form clinging to him as the ocean off side the cliff sonds harmonious within her ears.
It didn't take long thought till Destiny peered up at Ashram, her lips grazing over his chin and soon at the curve of his neck. He did love her, she never secound guessed that, but his actions sometimes confused her. She didn't undestan how he would go through her just to kill another person. It was the darkness that clouded his heart, if only she knew ways of clearing the haze to allow him to see and love her clearer.
Shifting slightly she came to make herself more comfortable, her comign to place her hands on her lap a moment before she smirked and shifted it all till she came to straddle his thighs and pushed him into a laying position on the ground. "Forget it all.... Forget all of it. there is no demon, nor Ryu, Tempest, nor Lina or anyone there is me...and you. Eachother is all we need." She slid up til she sat on him properly, her hands playing with his tunics bottom. the wind rushed through her hair it pushing it forward, the rain hitting down on her body but she would never submit to the rain. As her clothing wettened it clung to her body. A flesh toned form that was never touched in a forbidden way ,not even by her own husband. Light and purity lifted from her, her jade hues reflecting his and only his image in them.
"Forget the past... we have but the future, and I will not lose neither my friend, lover and husband to such quarrels." She smile down to him, fingertips tiptoeing up his chest till they came to wipe the rain from his face. "I wouldn't kow what to do with myself.... my life would be dead...full of sorrow and empty."

Now laying on his back his eyes opened. Her words filled his mind with thoughts, ones he couldn't just throw to the side. He remained as quiet as ever just staring up at her. It would be some time before he spoke. "I will not throw my life away. But forgetting the past is easier said than done, it is the past that made me and still is ever present in my life." A small smile made a place on his face. "But I will do what I can Love."
He slowly started to get up allowing her to first get up off him. Once on his feet the shadows swept by his form leaving the demonic sword in his hand. "It starts here with this." He moved up to the edge of the cliff. He stared down at the sea below. He simply tossed the blade off the edge watching it until it disappeared beneath the surface. The sword had traveled the whole while with its point leading the way, even when it struck the bottom of the waters it still remained in the same position. The sea floor would split just enough to allow the blade to continue its decent. Eventually the sea floor would return to the way it was. ¡°That is the first step to forgetting.¡±
It was rather difficult to toss the sword into the sea, that object was one of the biggest ties to the past he had so it was a good start. But the fact he knew where it was he would seek it out should the need for it be great enough. Looking to his wife he turned and walked over to her taking her in his arms. ¡°What do we do next?¡± He was unsure of this path she had asked him to walk and needed her guidance until it became clear to him.
