GaeIicPrincess: Izzy sat by the fountain looking up at the stars and the moon.
LadyDesari of RW: She watched her daughter and again was amazed at how quickly she was growing up. She called out to her. "Izzy, what are you doing out here all by your self?"
GaeIicPrincess: Hearing her mother's voice she looked over to her and smiled slightly. " I needed some fresh air. The cook said she would keep an eye on me from the window."
LadyDesari of RW: She walked over to her and sat down next to her. Brushing a strand of hair out of her eyes, she propped her elbows on her knees. "What are you thinking about?"
GaeIicPrincess: "About lots of things."
LadyDesari of RW: She let out a small sigh. This is how she was. "Izzy I can't help you if you don't talk to me. What is bothering you?"
GaeIicPrincess: "Oh I'm just wondering how things will work out with you having Vincent around. And then there is this column that I am going to be in charge of for the gazette."
LadyDesari of RW: "What column for the gazette? When did you see your aunt?"
GaeIicPrincess: "When she came to check on Crystal."
GaeIicPrincess: "I suggested that there be a place for us children and she thought it was a good idea and said that I was in charge of it."
LadyDesari of RW: "I am very proud of you. I know you will do well with it. Mayhaps it is time to get you your own desk in the library at home." She put her arm around her and hugged her.
GaeIicPrincess: She returned the hug. "Really?"
LadyDesari of RW: "Of course really. Why would you think different?"
GaeIicPrincess: She shrugged her shoulders. "Do you think Kendrick and Kahlan would want to help out with the column?"
LadyDesari of RW: "I don't see why not. All though I picture your sister helping more then your brother. You are a very bright young lady Izzy. Don't be so down about it."
GaeIicPrincess: she smiled. "It's just been a long day."
LadyDesari of RW: "Aye it has been a long day. Now tell me why you are worried about Vincent?"
GaeIicPrincess: " I know how Crystal feels about him, and he her. I hate feeling the tension in the castle when they are around each other."
LadyDesari of RW: "I know. Let me tell you a little something about Vincent. Once you tell him that you are loyal to him, any break in that loyalty tends to get his anger up. But Izzy I am telling you this right now. Vincent will love you like no
LadyDesari of RW: other father would. He will defend you in anything and would die for you. For you are my daughter. I know this is hard for you but I promise we will make it work."
GaeIicPrincess: She nodded. She trusted what her mother was saying to her.
LadyDesari of RW: "Your scared aren't you?"
GaeIicPrincess: "of what?"
LadyDesari of RW: "Having a father in your life when for so long it was just us?"
GaeIicPrincess: "yes I guess I am."
LadyDesari of RW: "Izzy I don't know what I can tell you that will ease your fears. This is a huge step and everyone will have to adjust. Including Vincent. You just need to remember to come to me when you have a problem."
GaeIicPrincess: "I know but he seems to let the slightest things anger him. And when he gets angry he hurts people."
LadyDesari of RW: Oh this was hard to explain. "He does not always hurt others when he is angry. Sometimes yells a lot. And not the slightest thing makes him angry. It has to be something major to make him angry."
GaeIicPrincess: She leaned against her mother and looked up at the stars admiring how bright they were. "well I am just telling you what I see."
LadyDesari of RW: "I know sweeting. I am trying to explain someone who still to this day confuses me sometimes."

GaeIicPrincess: she nodded. "Are all men like that?"
GaeIicPrincess: she had no clue why she would even ask such a question. She was still too young to be worrying about boys.
LadyDesari of RW: "Nae not all men are like that. i just ended up in love with one."
GaeIicPrincess: "Well lets hope he stays around for a long time."
LadyDesari of RW: She silently wished for the same thing. A part of her felt like she was dreaming. That she would wake up and her life would be the same.
GaeIicPrincess: "Perhaps we should go inside. After all we both could use some beauty sleep." She smirked.
LadyDesari of RW: "I think your right." She stood and took her daughter's hand. "I want you to remember one thing Izzy. I will always put you children first. And that I love you all very much."
GaeIicPrincess: She held her mother's hand as they walked back inside. "I love you too. And I am sure in time I will come to love Vincent."
LadyDesari of RW: Leading them back to their rooms, she tucks in her eldest and kisses her on the cheek. "You don't have to love him Izzy. Just try to be openminded."
GaeIicPrincess: " I promise to try." She would snuggle up under the covers as she looked to her mother. "Good Night Momma. Sleep well."
