Mysty Mountain Dwarves Storyline

[ I'm at it again, this time with a new storyline. Here is a log of the first appearance the Mysty Mountain Dwarves made on the lands of GoldenMyst. ]

Predecessor to Battle: For those of you that do not know, Kalimar was traveling over the Mysty Mountains. He was ambushed by a group of deep dwarves, that caught him off guard. They roughed him up pretty bad and ripped out his metal arm. Luckily, his pet behemoth (Balthasar) came to his aid and scared the dwarves away. Balthasar brought Kalimar back to GoldenMyst to be healed. A few days later dwarves appeared on the fields...

Goodbye Dreams: The dwarves began to move closer to the fighters now. A third soon came out to join the others, dressed in what looked like gear for war. Then again, the only one not heavily clad in armor was the scout. The dwarves stopped when

approaching dwarves and her brow rose a bit before getting on her feet and
warily watching the three of them as they approached:.
Goodbye Dreams: ::The tallest of the three dwarves stepped forward. Hands
gripped this great axe as he called out to them in the deep voice. His
accent was thick, but his words were easy to make out.:: Prepare fer battle,
you thievin' louts! ::A
Goodbye Dreams: fter the words were shouted the dwarves took up fighting
stances.::
Hawk Manson 007: :: the shadow ghost would rise:: sorry i dont fight kids
opps im sorry you guys must have hit puberty early!
HoneyOrVinegar: ........ .:Just blinks as she just watched the dwarves
curiously before asking:. And what exactly have we stolen?
Goodbye Dreams: Ye' best watch wot yer sayin' laddie...I'm ol' enough to be
yer father...::said the scout dwarf. The Mysty Mountain dwarves were allies
of Goldenmyst, but something must have happened to cause them to come to the
surface...for batt

Hawk Manson 007: their height.. ::he laughed coldy::
Goodbye Dreams: Ye know what yer stole...::shouted the third dwarf, growling
in fustration. He was tired of the ones attitude, and the battle to come
could not be avoided.::
HoneyOrVinegar: I do? .:Blinks as she looked then to the others before
looking back to the dwarves as she asked:. Well then, will ye kindly refresh
my memory since I have gone into a temporary lapse?

moved aside from that energy sword, his axe coming down to smack its blunt

heard...Almost like a deep conch shell. The raiders and scouts stopped
attacking and began to back off from the fighters. The scout called out.
"Yer lucky this time. We'll be back,
Emperial Destiny: ::He wanted to tell her to be safe, to watch out, to do
this and to do that... but... he liked watching her work. And even having a
conversation?:: I am fairing well... and yourself love?...
Hawk Manson 007: ::he laughed:: aww he doesnt want to play anymore...
Goodbye Dreams: yer can coun' on it, laddies. An don' reckon cause we're
leavin' now, we'll be weak when we return! ::The dwarven scout bellowed as
the three dwarves hurried off out of the fields in the direction of the
sound. But this would not
Goodbye Dreams: be the last time the dwarves set foot on Goldenmyst soil.::
HoneyOrVinegar: Doing good enough. 'Aving a bit of exercise this eve as ye
can see. .:She said as she flashed him a smile before looking to the dwarves
then and just gave a curt nod. She would respect their retreat and not pursue
them:.
Kalim of Valmont: Kalimar came to the fields, just in time to see the
dwarves retreating. A golden brow arched up as he stayed quiet and towards
the back of the group, waiting for the dwarves to disappear before making
himself noticed. If anyone ha

watched them run:: pathedic...
Kalim of Valmont: d seen Kalimar lately, they'd notice that metal arm was
missing. In fact, the dwarves that attacked tonight were the same ones that
ripped his arm off.
WarriorDrkRose: -Watching them she would huff, making her way towards Sate
as she wrapped her arms around him, moving her hands up onto his cheek- You
okay m'love? -Ignoring the blood trickling down along her stomach-

While members of the castle Goldenmyst were talking amongst themselves in the woods, a band of dwarves snuck up on them. Moving to circle the group to cut off their escape, they charged into a battle with them. Blow for blow was exchanged between the dwarves and the castle members. One of the dwarves was the first to stagger to the ground, but he was followed shortly by Angel. Not before long Kyono disappeared, and Demi was put unconscious. Sate and Rein fought the dwarves valiantly, sending another down, but ultimately they were overwhelmed. The dwarves laughed uproariously, having enjoyed the battle. "Tell yer kind Harik Godfist wants te' meet wit' em...He wants our treasure back..." said on of the dwarves. "That's iff'n ye can remember de message," laughed another one. Then gathering their battered companions they would head back towards the mountains to report on the battle to the Thrane.



Goodbye Dreams: A forest, eh? Well, not the typical place you'd see dwarves, but desperate times called for desperate measures. A small band of dwarves led by the second general of the Mysty Mountains moved through the woodland terrain. Harik ha

Goodbye Dreams: d ordered them to attack on sight and retrieve the treasure that was stolen. Pausing for a moment, the dwarves noticed a large group of people close by.

random. But it seemed these people had no idea what was coming for them.
