LOL ok this guy DaemonicSeraphim and his little friend lotus has been attacking the castle a few times Swapmon took care of the first time lotus came to the castle with a orc army seemed afew gave up with in our ranks I m not going to mention names but I will say one of them was high council and the other was a dragoon we would have won the fight there was only lotus main char Xeron or something like that left when the two gave up and went with him xenon seemed to ignore Swapmons attacks ...then last night I brought Amalgam to the castle and it was under attack again and DaemonicSeraphim was there they said he was the leader some kinda dragon well faust gave up in the middle of the battle after SkyofNite was koed and ordered Amalgam to stand down ..while letting Sky be taken...after being cussed out by sky over ims because "it was the first exciting thing to happen to his char" I decided to just have my char leave Faust gave his char to DaemonicSeraphim in the end saying he will never return to golden myst with the dragons promise of him never returning
my thoughts...it was fun but the idiot said his dice were 2d80 at first then when we told him he had to go by Gm rules he maxed his dice to 2d50...his dice would have been really 2d40 stupid noobs v.v

I have no official comment to make on the behalf of the HC on the behavior of those members who "gave themselves up" to the attacks. Personally, though, I disapprove of it strongly and believe that the attackers should not be even acknowledged--certainly not encouraged by offering them consentual victory. By doing this, even if it is "an exiting thing to have happen to your char", you are reinforcing their incorrect assumption that they have power over us and could "crush us at any moment". The best choice of action, in my opinion, is to ignore them. They're here to satisfy their egos, but if we deprive them of the attention they crave then chances are they will lose interest and leave to find a more cooperative victim.

Hope you don't get the wrong impression of a hc member giving themselves up, but thought it was the right thing to do, preventing anymore attacks at that moment.. But to sacrifice themselves for the kingdom.. surely that can be something positive but yea.. i agree that we should of ignored them but.. i wasn't thinking and i admit it was wrong ok.. so don't go all disapprovingly on me.. ?

I still feel that it was an incorrect choice of actions, but it's good to know your heart was in the right place. Given the good intentions and lack of serious consequences, there isn't any need for punishment or severe "disaproval".

If giving yourself up to them had really prevented them from coming back, then it might have been a noble thing to do.
However, they have been back at least three times that I know of and I haven't had that much time to RP lately.

The "vampire" who inspired him to say it was Torin, but the actual quote is in reference to all of Rhydin.
