Cold... clammy...
Slowly I openned my eyes, for the first time relising I couldn't breath, move or tense. I was looking through a distorted view of a world around me. The only light that shone upon me was the light from torches outside this icy prison encasing my naked body. When had I become trapped in this absurd captivity? Who lit these torches surrounding me?
Melting. The water running over the smooth ice kept altering the curves of the world around me, making me somewhat sick to my stomach. But the prison about me was weakening. Fools. Tensing my muscles, I felt something else that I had never felt before. It was like feeling the rest of the world become part of me.
Concentrating I focused every bit of potential energy around me, building it, containing it and drawing it from my own tensed muscles and the muscles even beyond me. Then I let it go, Kinetic energy exploding about me, the ice shattering, falling into small pieces at my feet as I dropped to the ground, atrophy having claimed my body.
"Vincent... your will is strong." The voice seemed to flow from the dark hallway that was unseen to me from that cursed icy hell. It was female and seemed music to my ears. I could see a figure standing in the darkness.
"Who are you? Why am I here!?" Rage was claiming me. I couldn't control it anymore. Kavan always told me it would get me in trouble, and I knew I should try harder to contain it but I couldn't.
The woman would step forward and then I couldn't help it as I gasped. A woman of extreme horror yet of extreme beauty stood before me. Half of her decayed... dead. Blackness staring at me from the eyesocket where her eyes should be. THe other half was gloriously beautiful, blonde hair cascading over her shoulder and a blue eye staring at me. The skin pale and flawless. A black robe covered her below her head. I closed my eyes struggling to kneel to her, to show no disrespect to the goddess Hel but my body was useless.
"Vincent... you have been chosen by the Gods to become a God. Not of just noorse, but the Gods from the other realms of our world. You and your brother have been chosen to lead all of us, God's and Goddess's into the Apocolypse. You are now known as Ryu Yogen, God of Dragons, born of the elements and darkness and hate. Kavan is the God of Revelation, born of the purity, light and justice. Ezrella will be here to help you. Your sister has missed you... Ryu." With that the Goddess turned and began to walk away but stopped a moment as if lost in thought. "You are a God of Gods, Ryu Yogen. But you were given this because at one time, you were mortal. A brood, but mortal. And only mortals can advise Gods on how mortals should be handled."
"Ezrella... God...Ryu?" It was so much that without thinking I began to rise, my anger flooding through me like a viking raid on a small town. My body responded, and energy from the world around me began to collect within my straining wide open hands, many colors blending together becoming a black orb of energy, crackles of blue lighting surrounding it. It was power I never felt before... power that I had dreamed of to protect Nina... memories of her flooded my mind but I pushed them aside. "I have more questions!"
"Your question's will answer themselves. You can easily feel that power now. Become great..." And with that she seemed to fade into dust.
Growling I shot both orbs forward without undrstanding how I was doing it, and as the orbs reached where she had been they blew up, and the cave crumbled around me leaving me in darkness. In the darkness I had time to think... in the darkness, a God was born. Ryu Yogen, God of Dragons.
