"The Untouchables" Yesterday was an interesting day. The nerve test got me out of the house and everyone seemed determined not to let me get back to my computer. I had an impromptu date, mind you I wasn't dressed for a date, and we went to his apartment to watch the movie. As I was quite stern about behaving, I actually got to see most of it. It is so not something I would typically pick but who knew Kevin Costner(sp?) had such gorgeous green eyes? All in all, I loved it. After leaving his house also got pulled out with Heather to watch her guy play pool a while. Saw her german shepard puppy again. Did y'all see the olympics last night?? Where the three Americans got gold, silver AND bronze in one of the running things?? It was terrif!!! Also got to see, hug and gossip with the birthday girl when I went up to see her at work and help her carry stuff to her car. It was a productive, oh wow the real world still exists, sort of day.

Ooh! I went and saw Without a Paddle today. It was actually very amusing, with nice themes strung along to it. It's not like, laughing your butt off laughter, but it evokes a lot of chuckles and giggles.

I just saw Hero today.
Very different, very interesting, not a movie for everyone. It follows the traditional Chineses style, and is in subtitles, so people raised on Hollywood will probably be left behind. Contrary to popular belief, the film wasn't actually made by Tarantino himself; he just loved it, and pushed to have it released here. I recommend it to wuxia fans or people with some knowledge of Chinese culture and history, but others might be better off with more straight forward action movies.

I watched "Identity" on HBO, a thriller about a psychotic mass murderer with multiple personality disorder. Strange twisted story line, but a good movie.

I have been going to the library lately and renting movies. Heh, it's free. ::because she sucks when it comes to late charges at BlockBuster:: Anyway... I finally saw Passion of The Christ. Words can't express what I felt when I got up off the couch after it was over. I also saw A Beautiful Mind yesterday. Wow. What a great movie. Between that and Master and Commander, my opinion of Russell Crowe has changed. Very talented actor. Still a dork as a person, but a dork with talent. I also bought Hildago. Good flick. Oh and saw an old one too. Three Kings with George Clooney. Not bad, for a war movie. ::thinks there are way to many of them out there:: I could go one but I think I have babbled enough this morning. Have a great day!
