Because the old Anduin is dead.....::He spoke softly to himself. Sadness filled his words as he shook his head. The man in front of him now was scared and confused, not even a shadow of his old friend. But Drako would be there to help him back, just like old times::

:When he heard those four words, memories of a day long ago filled his mind, his body becoming still, the shivering dying away as he remembered the night he lost his wife. The emotional pain would hit him like a sledgehammer, his eyes widening before he slumped over, falling to the ground and becoming unconscious, his eyes closing, his sight failing him as he soon felt no more.

She cried out as she watched him falling over. Quickly she leaned over, she had heard Drako, but she ignored him. Oh what did he know of the history of her and Anduin?
Angel had been so lost without him, and then her crystal stopped glowing. She knew then.. she only knew the worst. Then two years later she sees him? but now.. she was forever belonging to another man.
A sad story truely, but saddest.. Anduin had no clue how handsome his son was.
Placing her hand upon his cheek she would whispering softly, then humming gently.. did he remember the soothing songs she hummed once before?

:Anduin lay there as though dead. His mind, reeling from all the pain and suffering that he had been dealt for the past two years, simply shattered under the final blow. Angel, the second woman whom he gave his heart to, had thought him dead, and thus, she had moved on with her life. His body, though cold to the touch, was still living, though Anduin's mind and soul were in a dark place now, filled with sadness and pain beyond imagining.

Ever so slowly she would place her rump onto the ground. Pulling him to a more 'comfortable' position. Having his head on her lap as she could only look down to his face.
Knowing that he was breathing she kept giving that soft hum. This time of a draconic lullaby. Maybe it would help soothe his pain a bit. Anduin had been the first man she truely loved. It hurt her to know that she should of been more hopeful, to know that he was alive.
Thus.. too late to turn away she placed her hand gently against his cheek. Rubbing her thumb softly along his flesh. Keeping a soft hum. Adding words here and there to her tune.

::Drako sighed and walked slowly to the two. He knelt on the ground beside Anduin and placed his hand on his chest. A gold aura surrounded him as his soul left his body and entered Anduin's. He would find his friend and offer him peace, as much as he could::

:Anduin's mind and soul were encased in ice, keeping the fire within him from burning himself to nothing. The pain of betrayal and loss fueled the flames, which were contained in the ice, and kept safe in the darkness, which seemed to be an entity in itself, only concerned with keeping Anduin from ever waking, ever feeling, ever living...
