::He let out a light yawn and stretched:: Perhaps I should go...It's getting quite late.

Still cradling baby AJ to her bosom, she turned slowly to bid him goodnight.
"See you in the morning."

Of course....::He opened her door and walked down the stairs from the tower. Across the main hall and up another flight of stairs. He opened the door to his old room without even thinking and walked in, seeing another man in the bed. Drako stopped and turned around, quietly shutting the door behind him and walking back to the main hall:: Don't really feel like sleeping much anyways. ::He went to the bar and gathered himself a mug and a bottle of liquor and went to sit down on his favorite chair. He sat and poured the liquid into the mug. Taking a few sips, he leaned back into the chair, looking around at all that he had missed so much for the past year::

Up in her tower, Raine only wished that she could drink. But she knew that the second she touched the bottle, Gelina would be tearing her apart from the inside out.
Perhaps she should, just so that she would come...
The Duchess heaved a sigh, setting Archelo back in his crib, as he had begun to drift in her arms. Without bothering to change out of her gown, she walked over to her bed and collapsed upon it, deep in thought.

::He sat back with a sigh, finished off the last of the liquor. He wanted to walk right back into her room and wrap his arms around her, to feel the warmth of her body against his. Life didn't have to be the way it was. They could be happy together. She felt she had to fulfill a promise. That wasn't it at all. He had met him, the man who was lucky enough to have the love of Raine. They shared conversations every now and then and none were filled with any hatred or disgust. He could make Raine happy, but she wouldn't give him a chance, not like the one that he thought he was getting just before he passed away. It was also possible that she didn't want him. Very possible indeed. Whatever it was, he didn't like it. It was ok though, at least they could be friends, which would probably harder than anything he's experienced so far. He sat up and looked to the bottle, pouring the rest of its contents into his mug. It was going to be a long, lonely night::
