Vincent, Revelations of Ryu

He stood there holding his daughter and he would smile as he looked into her eyes, she would not fear him for all that seemed to come from the man was warmth and kindness.

"Lai, do you recognise me? I'm your father, if you concentrate, you can feel my presence in you...." He would then sit down putting her in his lap as he smiled. "I'm sorry I have left you without word... three years is a long time without me probably..."

"Seems my old self made quite a few mistakes... but maybe I can correct them now since... I seem to have more control now than I did."

A memory would hit him and he would cringe, his eyes rolling up into his head.

~ "Vincent, your so pathetic...... your sense of righteousness and loyalty to the Gods is pointless..."

He looked up staring at the dark haired man holding his wife at his side as she willingly nibbled at Chrono's neck and he could feel his blood grow even hotter as he watched his wife cheat on him before his very eyes as she then threw Vincents and her son down the stairs into the pit before them of flames.

"No." Vincent cried as blood driped from his tightly clenched fists and without warning he would burst into flames that just seemed to lick at his body but not scorch him as he grinned evilly staring at his whore of a wife and his Arch enemy. "No longer is my name Vincent... Sarianna, you were right, it is time I take my fathers place as a god, but instead of joining them, they will die at my hands for their sons treachery, but first, I will send their son's head to them."

He looked to Chrono and a sudden explosion would erupt and the memory would fade.~

"So it seems I had a painful past... odd that I remember all this and can't be as angry... or hurt when I can honestly say those people I don't really know now." He would shake his head holding his daughter. "I left Hazen with your mother, she needs one of you... I just wanted to see the one she said seemed to be taking after me the most. I can teach you things all others could simply dream of."

He looked to the person he recognised as his last wife and smiles as those eyes look over the curves of her body and he stood when she dissapeared and he walked toward the bedroom snapping his fingers, Lai appearing in his arms as he holds her nuzzling the top of her head. Where she had dissappeared he stood feeling Lina's energy and remembered her comment.

~When I get back, remind me to kick your ass.~

With that he set Lai on the bed and shook his head looking at his daughter. "I think no one knows how much stronger I am than I was... I am more of a God than Seragatto's supperiors."

"Now Lai, see what flows within your blood...."

He would then close his eyes both hands open wide as smokey whisps of energy seeped into those palms and then people even outside the realm would feel a slight itch at the back of their head as he began to connect to everyones life energy, even that of tree's and all nature. The blue in his hair would seem to bleed from his hair leaving it white and his sapphire hues would shift to emerald green, as a aura of white energy surrounded him.

"Lai, you are a decendant of my... this has been called my Spirit Form by the Gods because for one simple thing..." Wherever Lina was, she would begin to take a solid form as Vincent just smiled, a whisp of smoke could be followed from his to Lina.

"I can control life energy. And if I really try I could bring her to life.... possibly. Would depend on the will of her soul... but one day Lai, you will take my place beside your step brother Veedo. He will be God of Dragons, and you'll be the Goddess of Dragons, the first goddess since 3000 years."

He would smile feeling her shock and he would close his eyes once more. He could see her, everything she was doing and then he would flow fourth a large amount of energy, her form reverting to its origional state, enough energy to maintain her with life for a few hours while she did her wondering.

Looking to Lai he would pick her up holding her. "Now your name Lai, will eventually change. My name will revert back to Ryu... when my body fully regains all its energy, which its already far surpassed what it was when I previously had the name. When you reach 16... you will take the name Opheliea... the proper name for a princess of Dragons, and after my death you will be queen."

He would turn to face, those sapphire hues seeming to stare through her as he simply shook his head. "Your words are hard and cold.... I bring not destruction to lives Lina, but hope and life..." Once again that aura would surround him, energy of life and nature collecting in his being then flowing fourth into hers bringing her into a solid form once more. "Raine will understand, but Lai needs this right now.... I was six when I began my training and Veedo is late but he will come willingly when I go get him...."

Leaving Lai sitting on the bed he would walk towards Lina, those sapphire hues reflecting her image as he stepped closer to her till he was a foot away, that medium length hair hanging somewhat in his face but as she looked at him smile, she would see a happiness she hadn't seen they had been married a long time ago. She could tell it now, it was because he was haunted with the memories of "Doing" what he had in the past, he was now free of the guilt, he was reborn to who he was before all that.

"Lina...." One hand would stroke her cheek, that smile looking kind and carrying much warmth. "I haven't done anything for you to use such words agaionst me. I am simply doing somthing that much be done..."

He would slowly turn away, closing his eyes as he kept feeding energy throughout her spirit, his back to her as he looks down.

"I know, that I can be cold and calculating, I know in the past I have been demanding, chaotic and cruel. But I don't bring pain.... at least thats not my intention..."

One hand would graze the hilt of soulstealer at his hip, and he would smile saddly. "At one time, the man I was brough much havoc with this blade... Soulstealer. You ever wonder why he kept it with him?"

Raine, having settled her remaining two children into bed in another, somewhat secluded - and severely locked - room, had spent much of her time screaming at the top of her lungs.

Screaming, heaving, panting, raving, ranting, venting, hollaring, hooting, cursing like the sailor that she now was; Raine thrust her fists at the place where Lai had been taken, as though somehow if she continued to punch it, it would reappear.

All movement ceased when Gelina's ghost appeared. She stared, wide eyed as a deer in death's light, at the appiration, thinking for sure that she had at this point lost her sanity.

Some time after the ghost disappeared, her words registered with the distraught mother.

Ryu.

Ryu had done it again. What "it" was is something left entirely to your imagination and recollection. He'd befriended her, loved her, cheated on her, impregnated her, left her, and was now shredding whatever was left of her grip on sanity.

"RYU YOGEN YOU SON OF A BITCH!"

Now that there was a quality scream, one that would shake whatever realms were there to hear it. It echoed, bounced off the walls and slapped Ryu right in the face like he deserved.

God save he that crosses a mother's rage.

Not even being there, Raines pain seemed to echo to his soul and he flinched and with that he turned from Gelina a portal openning before him and he would walk through, to stand right before Raine. She had not seen him reborn yet but she could tell he was not the man she had fully once known.

"Raine... I know you may hate me. But you also know that I do this not to cause you pain, you know pain is something I have never tried to inflict..." He would look down, unshed tears in his eyes as he spoke. "If I don't train Lai now, she will die, the powers within her will eat her alive. I am not the old man you knew... you can trust me with our daughters life. I havent been around, you know why I havent but it is no excuse. I will train her, and you can see her whenever you want, but she needs to be trained or the dragon within her will consume her."

He would turn not able to hold back his tears and wanting to hide them. "She is our child. I am sorry for my past actions... but what... "Ryu" had done doesnt take away the fact that I am Lai's father. Before you had told me I would be a great father... give me the chance to prove that."

The portal would reopen and nothing but sincerity, kindness would roll from his aura, but also a emotional pain, emotion... something that was never felt from him, something he always kept hidden. "I know all I bring is pain.... I don't know why... I don't try to but it seems even now, reborn without my... anger issue's and quick temper I am still bringing much pain. I will leave once Lai is trained since it seems to be everyone's wishes."

With that he would walk through the portal to the dragon realm which would slowly shrink into nothingness. "And if I am a bitch to you.... then fear not, I guess you'll never have to see me again."

When the portal reopened, Raine found her fist in Vincent's chest. Her eyes locked with his and she paused for only a moment before continuing to thrust her woman-fists at him with no kind of strength or purpose.

When he started talking she ceased her punches, though she kept her fists against him.

He was right, she didn't understand any of it to too great an extent. She understood his need to train Lai. What she didn't understand was why he had to steal her from her; why Lai had to go away. Hazen wouldn't be too understanding either.

She listened in shocked silence as he spoke, and when she started to disappear she appeared a little panicked.

Tears streaming from her own blue eyes at remembering all those months of pain and the emptiness in her chest raising her children alone, Raine thrust her hand through the portal before it could go away completely, grazing Vincent's cheek with her fingertips before he was closed off from her.

When he was gone, she stood in a numb sort of state. It was hard, coping with so much. Ryu seemed to have a knack for causing pain while Raine seemed to have a real knack for piling it onto herself. One day she'd just be burried under it all and suffocate to death.

The broken fae wandered aimlessly through her room, ocassionaly raking a hand through her hair or chewing her lip in nervous habit. She'd need to get her head together.

One hand would go where Raines hand had grazed his cheek and he would look down, tears still falling from his eyes as he looked to Lina, a sick twisted smirk crossing that wet face.

"Soulstealer takes hatred and pain from a person and uses it to consume the person and turn them to evil. I had used it in the past to keep my emotions contained. Otherwise I would have let my past turn me into a cold heartless demon." He would take all the energy he had fed into Lina and it would appear in a white faded light in his hand and he would turn his back on Lina the energy disspersing into nothingness. "If you like your life in death then fine."

"I was just trying to correct all the wrongs I have done in the past." His hands would clench at his sides as he shivered once. "Look, just forget about watching over me... after Lai is trained I will leave. Seems all I am good at is bringing pain here. I want to help Raine raise her and my children, isn't right for me to burden her... but she never will let me do that I don't think. Just go and forget." He would chuckle, no real emotion behind it. "So tu no yare Ryu... what a bunch of bull...."

Before Lina could say a word, she would see the faint image of a blonde girl appear behind Ryu wrapping her arms around Ryu, Ezrebrum would be glowing the same faint blue that seemed to surround the image but Vincent's shiver would subside and another image would appear beside Lina, Raven dark hair hanging in green eyes, black wings folded behind her but a soft smile on her face, then the image of the raven haired lady would look to Vincent, mouthing the words "I love you Vince..." Before she would fade and Ezrella would fade as well but Vincent would seem to be calm now.

"Soulstealer... be gone." Soulstealer would fade from his side, sword, scabard and sword belt. "Lina... the funny thing is, all these people feel this pain. And it rips at me more so because I am the one who caused it and never even meant to." He would turn to face her, his whole face red from his crying... something that not many had seen.

"YOU THINK ME SO HEARTLESS!? SO CRUEL NOT TO FEEL GUILT OR PAIN!?" He would collapse to his knees punching the ground, the pavement caving into craters from his strength. "I'm not heartless... I don't mean to bring this cursed trail of pain... I know my last thoughts before I died... I am not the same man... but his memories. He wanted to die... but this rebirth... if I die.. then maybe others can FREAKING BE HAPPY!?" Now he would curl into a ball, black draconic wings sprouting from his shoulders to shield him to cover his emotions, his tears and momentary weakness.
